a good stop away from the city life with many things to do

I love the old cottage feel and vibes of the place. it was quiet with many activities to do and felt very private especially when we arrived on the weekday, it felt like it was only us and the owners. we enjoyed the activities like walking trails, fishing and feeding the goats. also it is quite a central location able to drive to many other activities

The perfect weekend getaway

Walnut was so beautiful. A really special stay. Loved the hot tub, the super clean and amazing decor. Loved all the eco touches. Amazingly well kitted out kitchen and games shed. The grounds are incredible. Will definitely be staying again!

Romantic hide away in The Cotswolds

Heathfarm is a magical place with beautiful joinery, warmly decorated rooms, ultra comfortable, very nice fireplace all set on a tranquil wonderfully landscaped garden/woodland. The privat hottubs with breath-taking views over water and grass lands on to the hills are fantastic. Indulge your self and go I'd say.

Wedding Weekend

We had our wedding here so all the cottages were booked out for the family. Everyone was taken aback by the care and attention paid to every detail. The cottages were a delight - cosy, quiet, comfortable Everyone at the wedding said they’d be looking in to booking their own weekend away at Heath Farm; it’s immaculate and so are all the cottages.

Fantastic venue

It's a fantastic place to stay. Walnut is very comfortable, but be aware there are steps outside and stairs to bedrooms. The private garden area to this accommodation is a bonus, and we used the hot tub every day. Lovely walks around the 70 acres and the small lake has trout if you like to fish - also other equipment available for the water. The whole area is beautifully laid out with a rill in the courtyard and the water trickling down is very soothing. The staff and family are exceptionally kind and helpful. A quiet relaxing place to stay. Lots to do within a 30 minute drive.

Family holiday

We stayed for 5 nights in Walnut Cottage & my kids didn't want to leave after that. We loved everything - games lawn, sgtand-up paddle boarding in the lake, catching/feeding fish in the lake, walking around the spacious grounds, clean & well-equipped kitchen. Only down side was the extremely hot weather in the afternoons which was out of anyone's control. Thankfully, the cottage was so comfortable we could just have a short siesta or read during the hot afternoons.

Wedding party Weekend

Honestly the experience of the farm is just amazing and I cannot recommend Heath Farm enough - we stayed at Walnut and the view over the courtyard is amazing There is absolutely everything you could possibly want from weighing scales to toiletry products, pizza oven, BBQ , dressing gowns and towels and the hot tub of course Honestly such a magical place we cannot wait to return and hope to return year after year Mon and Sacha absolutely make it a place to relax and make your own whilst there

Walnut

A beautiful, spacious cottage finished to the highest standard. Bedding was lovely. There is a huge table for entertaining. The owners have thought of everything, and provided plenty of basics, such as herbs, tea and coffee, pepper and salt, toiletries etc. They made us feel very welcome. Everywhere was immaculately clean. The grounds/gardens are excellent with lots of activities which kept us busy.

Another wonderful stay at Heathfarm

As a family, we returned for our 5th or it may even be our 6th visit! It was a gem of a find, once lockdown madness ended, and we cannot think of anywhere better to enjoy a family holiday. The Barbour family are always amazing in their welcome and you will find everything, and more, on hand to enjoy your relaxing stay. There are many wonderful places to visit locally but if you just want to relax and unwind there is no where more perfect. The cottages all have their own individual character and everything you need is provided. Since we first visited hot tubs have been added so you can enjoy the amazing views whist soaking in the bubbles! You won’t be disappointed and I am sure you will be return visitors like us!

A very special place

Heath Farm is beautiful and peaceful, set in the Cotswolds, but feels like the Mediterranean. Our stay in Walnut was totally relaxing, particularly with the amazing views and garden hot tub. It's also very well-appointed and the craftsmanship of the wooden fittings is truly unique. There's lots to explore such as the pretty grounds, well-equipped games room and further beyond in Oxfordshire, but it's just as pleasant to take in the view from the garden, especially at sunset. Heath Farm has an altruistic ethos which celebrates local skills and respects the environment. Finally, the owners were very welcoming and helpful and their love for Heath Farm really shows.

You won’t be disappointed!

What an amazing stay at the Walnut Cottage. Abigail and Mon were fantastic and were so helpful and friendly. The hot tub facilities were clean and robes provided. The children loves the games room, great facilities for them and clean. The cottage itself was very clean and had all the equipment in the kitchen. Home away from home. The lodge was warm and cosy. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries. We felt very relaxed and walking around the farm was beautiful. The children enjoyed meeting some of the animals and walking down to the pond to feed the trout. This accommodation beat our expectation and we will definitely be coming back. Superb stay. Gorgeous

A beautifully finished property, with gorgeous surroundings. The owners have thought of absolutely everything we could want or need during our stay. The gardens and games room are perfect for our family. With loads to do, we hardly left the farm at all.

Heaven in the cotswolds

The cottage was lovely and our hosts were most accommodating. They greet you with this spectacular cake ( I got the ginger - superb). I cook a lot and the appliances were modern and the kitchen well-equipped with every utensil you could want. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in the Cotswolds

A great week in the English country side!

After spending a week in London, my wife and I stayed a week at the walnut cottage with our 2 kids and it was great! The location, the staff, the accomodations (e.g.: private spa) and the overall comfort were excellent! I strongly recommend to everyone looking for quiet space to relax while still being just a short drive from nice English attractions.

Beautiful property

Only stayed here for 3 nights wish it had been longer. The property is extremely well maintained and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need to cook with. The garden and surrounding land are very pretty and I felt relaxed as soon as we got there. Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect stay

I stayed at Walnut for 4 nights with my two children and my husband (to celebrate his birthday). Such a beautiful place with plenty to entertain the children. They loved the trampoline, the games room and the outdoor games available at the games hut. We had a bbq and toasted marshmallows in our private little garden area and spent a lot of time relaxing in the hot tub. A perfect, relaxing stay.
