3 bedroom semi-detached cottage with a beautiful well maintained enclosed shared walled garden.

This truly is a hidden corner of Scotland where the pace of life is slow, air refreshing and food delicious, with a good nights sleep assured, these historic self-catering cottages make for the perfect holiday recipe.

Garden Cottage is suitable for disabled access with one step in at the front and back entrance, all rooms are on one level, however the shower is over the bath.
During the colder months guests can enjoy the added benefit of a wonderful woodburning stove.

Each self-catering cottage has central heating and double glazing with wood burning stoves. The well-tended grounds and gardens are superb with wonderful views over the valley and ample private parking surrounded by mature trees. The setting is rural yet 1 mile inland from the quaint traditional Scottish fishing village of Whitehills and 3 miles from Banff, a town with some of Scotland's finest examples of 16th and 17th century architecture, which includes Duff House built in 1743 by Robert Adams and now an outstation of The National Galleries of Scotland.

The facilities were spotless, great location, safe walled garden for pets/children. Lots of very useful descriptive information on the local areas to visit which was split into East and West by the host. The whole house was warm and comfortable with a log burner and readily available hot water 24/7 for baths/showers. We have stayed at 4 good properties recently and this was the best in provisions provided by the host with some nice personal touches down to the fresh flowers on the dining table. We highly recommend this place and will return. Ramsay and Tracy were excellent hosts who have perfected the art of giving you a home from home feeling in their lovely Cottages.

We had such a lovely welcome from Ramsay at Garden Cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a larged walled garden looking over to the Aberdeenshire hills. Inside, the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. The living area is spacious and has full length windows and a window seat looking onto the garden. There are plenty of places of interest to visit close by and a bit further afield. We would love to come back to stay here and explore more.

A wonderful cottage and host. Great space with an amazing garden. Lots of helpful advice from host on local area. Super quiet with very peaceful surroundings. Easy access to main roads and beaches so a brilliant base for exploring Aberdeenshire.

What a lovely cottage and our hosts Ramsey and Tracey were amazing - even introduced us to their friend and got us a bottle of wine on learning it was our wedding anniversary. The welcome pack was a wonderful surprise. I can't recommend highly enough - I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Wonderful Time

Beautiful semi detached cottage. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The enclosed walled garden was a safe oasis for my daughter and dog who were both in their element with the freedom they had. We enjoyed lovely sunny weather which allowed us to utilise it for most of our stay.Ramsay was very responsive and quick to respond to any queries. We were really appreciative of the early self check in offered. The Sunday tea room was closed when we were there but we went to the visitor centre instead and had a lovely meal. I would highly recommend this beautiful property and most definitely will be back.

Excellent Cottage

I received a warm welcome from the host and he could not do enough to make me welcome at the cottage. The cottage, as per the listing, is secluded and was ideal for my short break. If it is quiet and downtime you require then I recommend this property.

For this area of Scotland I totally recommend this property. The grounds are stunning and extremely well kept and large enough for games of cricket! The property is just like the photos and has a very homely feel. Everything we needed was available and the hosts are very local, available and great people. Our homely stay

What a lovely couple who own the cottages, Ramsey,Tracy . Nothing was too much trouble , the cottage was spotless the gardens for the kids to play on amazing , took our mountain bikes and had the time of our lives, thankyou Ramsey for taking us around different close villages so we new where to go and get our bearings . A Haven

The garden and surrounding area was a much needed tonic - and kept the youngsters off their screens a lot!! The property is simple but very nicely presented and had everything we needed. We felt welcome by the hosts and will definitely book to stay there again.

So peaceful!

We absolutely loved our stay in garden cottage, so many extra details thought of within the cottage facilities, fantastic tips from the owners on the local area, beautiful views all around with the most beautiful countryside and sea views within just a short walk. Great tea rooms next door and our children felt incredibly free and safe playing in the garden.

Beautiful house in such a beautiful area

Everything about this house and the stay we had was perfect. From the moment we were kindly welcomed by Tracey and Ramsey, to the cleanliness of the house, the comfort of all of the beds to the beautiful big garden that our children loved running around from dawn till dusk. The area the house is located in is perfect with many stunning and accessible beaches a short drive away. Thank you for our stay we all enjoyed it very much and hope one day to return.

A perfect getaway!

A beautiful cottage located in a rural setting but only a short drive to Banff and within easy walking distance down a country lane to Whitehills. The best thing about this property is the large well maintained walled garden. Our dog had the time of his life! We had a couple small issues with the WiFi and TV but they were sorted very promptly by the owners who live right next door. Ramsay and Tracy were wonderful attentive hosts.

Absolutely perfect trip

Simply cannot fault the cottage or hosts. We were made to feel so incredibly welcome by Tracey and Ramsey from arrival who were extraordinarily kind and generous. The cottage and grounds are impeccably maintained and there are an abundance of great walks just on the doorstep. We will for sure be back as soon as we can and would highly recommend a visit to anyone.
