We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Running Waters Lodge! The Property Management communication was great. The house was perfect for our weekend stay and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable and we are still talking about them a week later! Thanks for the great experience.

Absolutely Blown Away

Our first trip to Banner Elk and it was amazing!!! The lodge is located in the Eagles Nest community that was absolutely beautiful. It is close to dining, shopping, hiking, And just about any outdoor activity you can imagine. The property management was exceptional from booking, to pre arrival through departure. We will most certainly be back.

Great place for a family vaca. Be aware that sometimes even 4WD is not enough. We were lucky enough to get hit with 4"-6" of snow during our stay. My truck was fine getting in and out but our family's Honda pilot wasn't going anywhere.

Great Stay

Great quiet location with a home full of everything-you-need. Easy check in process. Home is close to the gate. We staying in January during a snow storm... the access road to the home is a steep decline and then an incline up the driveway. 4x4 is an absolute necessity with snow. We would stay here again
