“Outstanding house on a very large and secluded lot located on the Ring of Beara road just minutes away from the picturesque town of Kenmare. The house is extremely clean, very spacious, comfortably furnished, with excellent Wi-Fi. The owner, Judy, responded to our questions very promptly and the welcome treats were much appreciated. Do not pass this rental up if planning to stay in this area. Highly recommended!”

“Uns hat das Ferienhaus sehr gut gefallen. Es ist sehr geräumig: Es gibt eine große Wohnküche sowie drei Schlafzimmer, dazu zwei Bäder und eine zusätzliche Dusche. Das alles hat für uns als Familie sehr gut gepasst, zumal mit einer Teenagerin. Auch die gut ausgestattete offene Küche war zum Kochen für eine Familie super. Gern hätten wir mehr Zeit dort verbracht, weil die Region von Kenmare zum Wandern und Entdecken einlädt. ”

“Es ist ein hübsches Haus- gut gelegen, genug Platz. Leider kleine Mängel: Zwei Birnen waren defekt und der Herd extrem verschmutzt. Da wir aber ohnehin gern ins Pub gehen, für uns nicht schlimm. Aber ausreichend Handtücher, zwei Badezimmer. Waschmaschine, Trockner. Alles vorhanden.”

“Beautiful house in quite location to explore Beara peninsula. Our kids (12 years) enjoyed to have their own rooms.”

“Our family of 17 celebrated a special birthday at this wonderful home. Even though it was large enough to accommodate all of us, it was a warm and comfortable place for all of us. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, grocery stores and golf course. Patrick and Victoria were always within a phone call or email if we needed them. I would highly recommend the Shelburne Lodge and if I could I would rate it 5 1/2 stars.”

“Très beau séjour dans la magnifique maison de Kay et Pat ! Nous avons été très gentiment accueillis par nos hôtes, et nous avons adoré notre séjour. La maison était très agréable, très confortable (cuisine équipée, très bonne literie, etc.), avec une vue incroyable sur l'océan, et le jardin superbe. Tout était encore plus beau que sur les photos ! La localisation était parfaite pour explorer la péninsule de Beara. Nos trois jeunes enfants se sont sentis comme chez eux et nous aussi. Merci Kay et……

“Excellent location, lovely house. Close to a pretty town. A rocky beach a brief stroll away. A charming sauna. Dog-friendly. Can't fault it at all. We had great weather too!”

“We loved staying at the barn! The place is very quiet and super green and the barn and the attached terrace is very private - except for the little white wagtail visiting every now and then. The barn has everything you need and a little extra to have a very comfortable stay. Toaster, coffee machine, a comfy fireplace, apple TV. It is very clean as well.It is a little drive away from town but thats what makes it so nice. Everyhing you might need is still within reach - such as the best……

“The property is a wonderful place to stay. The house is huge. Very clean. Beautifully decorated, the amenites are great. Space ro back fun and to have alone time if needed.Location and scenery is breath taking and the local Hayes restaurant serves very high quality food.What more could you want ”
