"This was by far my best experience in any hotel and I am not young! Penny and Constance, at the reception desk, were amazing at taking care of everyone’s needs, explaining and suggesting activities, restaurants, best time for everything. The were friendly, knowledgeable, available and fun to interact with. A family atmosphere. They made our trip better then we could have expected. The accommodations were also great and clean, loved the breakfast food available, great start to the day. Hotel is within easy walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. I would recommend to anyone heading to Bar harbor. "

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are pretty much immaculate and the staff is so professional and welcoming. A breath of fresh air. I only had one night booked originally but an hour of being here I booked a 2nd night. A pleasant staff and cozy room will do that. I look forward to coming back in the future."

"This is a clean, quiet hotel near Acadia National Park. The service was wonderful. The breakfast variety was very good. The only drawback of staying in the newer building is that you have to walk outside to go to breakfast and use the indoor pool/hot tub in the main building. Overall, it’s a great place to stay when visiting Bar Harbor."

"This place met beyond expectations. The last night we were there they usually turn off the fire pit at 10 o’clock. My wife and I got to the fire pit at 9:55 p.m. to seat around the fire with a glass if wine. And the girl at the front desk named Danielyah did not turn off the fire pit on us and did not even come out and interrupt our great time. We ended up staying out there to about 10:30 PM and then we left as we were walking back to our room. we then saw her go outside to turn off the fire pit. It was so great to have that type of service from the minute. We got there to the minute. We left excellent service A highly recommend. "
