Largest, sunny & renovated AC apartment in a central Location.

In a central location of the city (Gracia El camp d`en Grassot), in the border with dreta del Eixample and Sagrada Familia District, only 8 minutes by Metro from Plaza Catalonia & The Ramblas, & easy access to the beach and the airport. This quiet 70 sq. metre, 2 bedroom apartment is housed in an early century art-nouveau building with elevator, so no problem with suitcases. The apartment includes a sunny beau window overlooking a typical Barcelona Example patio, where having breakfast or a drink will make your stay even more enjoyable. This apartment sleeps up to 6 in a spacious double bedroom, a single bedroom and a double queen sofa bed in the living room area. Both bedrooms are completely furnished & quiet. The apartment also has central heating & air conditioning. There is a fully equipped kitchen.

This apartment is in one of the best central location of Barcelona ( 2 street from Verdaguer Metro Station ) and between the historic city & Gracia neighbound; monuments & the interesting shops area and restaurants are 5 minutes away by Metro. The spacious Example or “enlargement” was mostly built at the turn of the 20th century. The large number of art-nouveau style buildings provides the visitor with the opportunity to discover the hidden treasures of this lovely
Barcelona neighborhood.

Our host, Carlos, responded very quickly to our questions. The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, and everything works well.The old-fashioned elevator was charming and delighted our 9 yr old grandson who instantly became our official "lift operator".The location is wonderful, in the Gracia neighbourhood which has a very large pedestrian zone containing play areas for kids, benches (ideal for savouring coffee and a treat), shade trees, dog areas, and a large market. We always felt safe even walking alone in the evening. There are several grocery stores both big and small within 2 blocks, if you bother to cook at all when there are so many restaurants, pastry shops, bars and even bubble tea all around you.Two subway lines are within 4 blocks and connect to a 10 line system that can take you close to anything.Our 2 weeks in this apartment were a wonderful experience, blending easy access to both Old World charm and history and modern era art and convenience.

Beautiful Apartment Within Walking Distance to Basilica and Restaurants

All amenities were as described except that the 2nd bedroom was hot due to no A/C unit and loud due to being next to the lift. Checkin and Carlos were fantastic, beds were comfortable and unit was very clean and safe.

Paradise in Barcelona

Had a wonderful trip. Apartment was spacious and well equipped. Location was ideal. Subway was close by. Upscale and safe neighborhood. Sometimes it got a bit noisy at night. Shower head in the master bathroom wasn't functioning right. Wifi signal was strong. Very happy and planning to come back next year.

Excellent location

The apartment was very convenient to local stores, restaurants and train stations. Carlos was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The furniture in the apartment is very dated. The smaller bedroom really has no place to unpack your clothes. It would have been nice to have a place to unpack your stuff. Overall it was a great stay.

Great location and host but...

This property offered us two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen in a great location. Carlos was a very communicative and helpful manager. The building was a typical building where locals live, but no balcony, it faced the inner yard, so a little dark most of the day. The main drawbacks were the quality of the furnishings and the cleanliness. We could not sit on the couch without the cushions sliding out from underneath us, and the coverings could have used a good wash. There was great Wifi, but no local TV. The kitchen was stocked but there wasn't a proper pan to make eggs for breakfast, so we enjoyed them boiled. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and floors could be improved, and a broom and dustpan would have been most helpful. There was a minor issue with the electricity but Carlos helped resolve this issue. There was heat available when we needed it. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but a few minor fixes and it would have been great.

Super convenient location with everything you need!

We loved staying at Carlos' apartment as it was superbly located and had every amenity we could think of. Communicating with Carlos was a breeze and he was very thorough. Barcelona is a gorgeous city with so much to see and do and we were able to do it all so conveniently from the apartment!

Just a 10 min walk to Sagrada Familia or Casa Batlló, very spacious apartment equipped with a washer, stove, fridge, bathtub and shower. Host met us at the place and provided us with all information in a binder on how to use items/where to go. Overall great experience and would stay again if returning.

Wonderful for families

The appartment was very comfortable, quiet and close to many attractions including being 3 blocks from Sagrada Familia. Many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Very clean appartment and very roomy. Wonderful neighbourhood. My whole family loved staying here for a week!

Very nice stay in a fantastic area of Barcelona

We stayed 1 week in the apartment. Everything was clean and nice, and we had all we needed in the kitchen. There is a indoor balcony in continuation of the livingroom to the south, which gives a lot of light to the room but also heating it up in the sommermonths. The only problem was the air-condition in the bedroom, which gave us so much noise that we couldn't get any sleep. So we ended up sleeping in the living room. There is a metro station nearby and super connections to the rest of the city. We can really recommend this apartment. Especially if you come during winter months. Thanks to Carlos for being a really nice host.
