Just a beautiful walk from downtown! Older hotel, but don't let that discourage you. Because our room was nicely redone. Parking was great. Staff was great. We will definitely stay there again!

We were very pleased with the Bourbon Capital Inn. The owners are working hard to restore the Inn and have done a great job. Our rooms (yes plural) were on the first floor area, so we were able to park in front of our rooms. There is is a "front" porch area (or veranda) that has very comfortable chairs and tables, which we used in the evenings to sit out and enjoy the mild spring weather. Several other travelers were out on the porch which encouraged some friendly conversations. The staff was very pleasant and attentive to our every need. We are definitely coming back!

The female.staff person who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. The room itself looked clean, beds were fine. Could use more lighting. There was a refridgerator and microwave, but no coffee service in the room. The only available coffee was a Keurig in the office. No snacks or vending on the sight though you could buy a can of coke from the desk receprion for a dollar. No breakfast. What made my rating poor instead of ok, was one, there was an ajoining room. I would not have booked if i had know. It was ajoining. Two we were awakened at 830am by pounding on the door, (not knocking) pounding. Then someone proceded to key the door and try to enter. There was a chain in place from the inside or there would have been someone with access, in our room at 830am while we were sleeping. To say it was jarring and scary would be an understatement. No one spoke,or asked for entry. When we dressed and looked out the door, no one was around. Check out is not until 11am so if that is their way of saying "move along we want to clean", they won't have to worry about me coming back.

Facility is being updated and they’re working hard on restoring an older facility. That said, we had a good stay as the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was also clean (it is small, but again it’s an older facility) and the water pressure was good. Heater worked almost too good as it warmed up QUICK in the room. Would definitely stay there again.

Large and very clean room, great bed, and everything in good working order. Perfect location -- everything downtown is easily walkable. For me the one negative was that the room was quite poorly lit. A couple more lamps would be great, or even just a desk lamp would go a long way.

very clean and neat, bed very comfortable as I like a firm bed but not too firm. I prefer a bath tub but your shower was totally acceptable. The only slight negative was my access card died on me and I had to go to the office to get it recharged. Fortunately there was still someone was still in the office to charge it for me. If it had been much later I am not sure someone would have been there to help me. I will be back!
