Very convenient, but a bit noisy with the traffic. Other than this, every thing is good.

Cheerful, friendly upbeat greeting when we arrived. Room was very clean. Appreciated (four!) comfortable pillows on each queen bed. Minor issue with cell phone power ports next to beds (didn't work) Used a power block and plugged into outlet which worked out. Breakfast was as good as any I have had at a hotel/motel/Inn. From cereals to pastries and even Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, it was a very good selection. I would definitely stay here again if it fits into my travel plans.

We have stayed here several times. It’s comfortable and dog friendly. We have stayed in several of these and for some reason every bathroom toilet seat isn’t secure? Staff should check these for safety. Other than that it was a great stay.

Don’t spend the extra dollars
I decided to spend more than I usually spend on my Barstow stopover in my bi-annual travels to visit family in Northern California. As far as I’m concerned, it was a waste of money. The first room I checked in to had a broken burglar chain, and my fits question was, seriously, what modern hotel still uses burglar chains to secure their doors? Then I checked the window to make sure it was secure as it was a first floor room, and the lock was broken! As a single woman, traveling alone, I called to the front desk immediately and explained the issue, to which the clerk responded to come down, and she would check me into another room. The second room was adequate, nothing special, with a dated bathroom, and a very confusing heating/cooling system. The room was warm upon entry, so I lowered the thermostat temperature, thinking that the heat wouldn’t come on until the room temp fell below the 72° at which I set it. But no, the air-conditioning came on, blowing cold air into the room throughout! When I asked the clerk about how to ensure that AC wouldn’t continue blowing into my room, she was unsure about the system in general. I don’t understand when hotel staff isn’t properly trained in explaining use of its systems. For the above listed reasons, I won’t be returning to this hotel.

Great deal, great stay.
Stayed here because it was a great rate, but it was also a great hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. Place was clean and breakfast was great. Would happily staff here again.

Was a convenient spot to stop on my trip home. Paid a little more than the other hotels in the area but I believe this one was nicer and cleaner.

It was more expensive than the other properties in the area but it also rated higher. I didn’t want to risk staying in a dump so I paid the extra price. It was well worth it. Nothing to complain about.
