Basilicata Spa Hotel

"2 bedroom apartment was very nice and very clean. Photos look a little austere, but the apartments are well done and very functional with plenty of space. Important to note that the 2 bedroom apartments actually have two bathrooms (one full and one half bath) which is nice so those sleeping on the flip out couch side can use the restroom at night without disturbing those sleeping in the other room. Most of the reviews are spot on - yes, it's in an industrial area, but once you're inside the gates, you could never tell. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is small but nice. Yes, the breakfast was a little short on options, mainly cakes and sweets with some cold cuts, bread and cheese and some basic cereals, but what was there was good. "

"Beautiful hotel update in the old city. The hotel and staff were very welcoming and attentive. The views are amazing. Be aware there are many many steps to go anywhere in the old city…uneven, rocky and challenging to navigate. If you have any physical walking challenges you might find the hotel location problematic. Do yourself a favor, take a taxi and then you can have them meet you and help with your luggage. "

"We had trouble finding the parking garage! One phone call and Jennifer got us there step by step. Very helpful to say the least. We were given a warm greeting upon arrival. The staff were all friendly and pleasant to talk with. Our room was very clean and inviting. There were beautiful candles lit in the bedroom and bathroom. A table was set up with fresh fruit and a pitcher of water. Elegant napkins and tableware were provided. Our two day stay was really wonderful."

"Nice cave hotel. Cool room, very comfortable. 2 outdoor terraces with great Sassi views. Easy access by taxi, not many stairs. Well located for attractions and restaurants. Tasty home made breakfast items.Lovely staff. Enjoyable stay."
