Great stay! Staff were helpful. Hotel is walking distance to main centre and it’s quiet. Lovely garden. Limited parking but we were able to park. Hotel rooms has its own character which adds to flavour but would say it needs refreshments.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Ayrlington in Bath. The room was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, the pillows actually stayed fluffy, and the shower was fantastic with great water pressure — all things I definitely notice when traveling! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and having onsite parking was a huge bonus. The location was also perfect for us. We were able to easily walk into town and explore Bath without having to worry about driving or parking. The whole property was beautifully decorated and had so much charm. I especially loved that the rooms had names instead of numbers — such a small detail, but it made the place feel even more special. We stayed in the Carnation Room and really enjoyed it. I would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend The Ayrlington to anyone visiting Bath.

Second time staying here. Expensive, and both breakfast and parking cost extra. Breakfast was good, but not excellent like some other stays we had on this trip. Parking is tight but doable. The Plate restaurant next door is very good for dinner.

This place was so amazing! You could walk to anything you wanted to do. We were in the garden room and it was perfect. Our stay was 3 days but we never wanted to leave! The staff was so helpful and the garden view was incredible! Breakfast is extra but worth starting your day with :)

We were in Bath during record heat. The radiator would not turn off in the bathroom, adding to the heat. We were not offered a different room or any money back for the inconvenience and problem that made the room almost intolerable.

A little shabby but perfect location. Pillows flat and sheets older but bed was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Love the property, my room was beautiful and it looked out to the back of the house onto the gardens. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great. My only problem was the wifi-it was not reliable which was an issue since this was a work trip and I had work to do while I was there.

Room was small but clean enough. The big problem with us was the stairs and no lift. We were at the top of the hotel and quite a few flights of stairs . We are in our 70s and had two suitcases about 45lbs each. Ended up leaving them in the car and just taking what we needed from them for the night. We are from Canada and I understand a lot of hotels in Britain are like that.
