Starry Nights
Perfect place that was secluded, but yet very close to the Bayfield downtown area. We were able to see the northern lights one night and the meteor shower from the front door! House was packed with amenities down to the firewood. The owner was very proactive in communicating. Overall very easy process. The hammock was a nice addition my kids liked. Although there is other property onsite, very easy to keep to yourself.

Glamorous girlfriend getaway
This place is a rare beauty a little bit off the beaten track, but very close to town. My high school friend and I wanted a nice place with two beds, which is hard to find. The home and property were beautiful, modern, and clean. Lots of little extra touches, showing how much care was put into making this comfortable stay. Would highly recommend and definitely come back!

Lovely property in a great location
This was a perfect location for our family. It is close to Bayfield and not too far from Cornucopia (where the company we selected for a kayak was located) or Meyers Beach (kayak launch and hiking). The host left great instructions and the property was clean and had everything we needed.

Cute Bayfield Cottage
We stayed here last July for my 40th as we wanted to be close to Madeline Island, but not camp. The main drawback was the list of restrictions. The red tape is I’m sure to avoid party goers, but it was a little bit of a turn off. Fortunately I asked the owners if it was ok to have my parents over for a fire abiding by the time limits posted and they ok’d it. Outside of that it was a great little place for my husband and I and our two kids (aged 1.5 and 10) to have dinner, sleep, have a camp fire with marshmallows, and go to/from a day trip to the island at the beach. It was well kept and had a nice little kitchen, living area, and nice bathroom. I would consider staying again. A plus might having a high chair or booster, pack n play, and or baby gate for the top of the stairs so we wouldn’t have to bring along.

Great cottage!
Check in was easy and house instructions were clear. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, towels were provided, the beds were comfy, and there was enough linens for the futon. I did have to contact the owner and I got a response right away. The size of the cottage was perfect for our family of four. Loved our stay in Bayfield, we’re already planning our next trip.

Bayfield and Madeline Island are worth the visit. This property has everything you need! They have truly thought of everything for comfort and convenience! Well stocked kitchen, close to town, but far enough away that you feel like you’re tucked away in a forest paradise. Highly recommended!

A must stay!
This property was so beautiful! Well maintained, clean, and so many little details have been thought of and taken care of for you. And it’s literally only 4 minutes from town. We were originally a little concerned that there’s another rental cottage across the driveway, but this was a total non issue. Both properties had plenty of privacy. If you need a place to stay in bayfield choose this one!!

Even Goldilocks Would Love This Place!
Immaculate, comfortable and just like the pictures. Every detail was thought out. The weather prevented us from going out to see the islands, but we had a great time anyway because the cottage was "just right."

Relaxing and Peaceful! The cabin was filled with everything you could need, very clean and well organized.The property is tucked away in your own enchanted forest, but within minutes shops, restaurants and activities. We highly recommend it, you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful autumn stay.
Stayed at the Rock Garden Cottage after a couple days of camping and it was awesome. The communication with the host was exceptional and he was very quick to respond to any questions you had. The location was beautiful and the colors of the surrounding forest in October was unreal. Highly recommend to stay here if you plan a fall trip up to Lake Superior!

Chris' property was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. It was close to downtown Bayfield and all of the orchards that we came to visit. We had a wonderful quiet stay for our belated anniversary getaway on the weekend of Apple Festival. Would recommend!
