「It was a lovely stay in a lovely location. A car is essential when staying here. I have one criticism. Whoever stayed previously obviously brought a dog that smelled. The odour was strong and pungent in the lounge and despite us ventilating the room it was still present when we left. Apart from that the cottage was fabulous. Thank you too for the welcome pack.」

「We had a lovely week at the cottage, only one point taken off for comfort as we found the sofas very low and tired, we are seniors and maybe that’s why we were needing firm seats. Our hosts were both friendly and helpful and we were intrigued by the amount of squirrels 🐿️ constantly removing nuts from the tree opposite this was very entertaining. The weather was very kind to us only saw one day of showers. We were warm and happy with our accommodation and the area which we know very well, we...

「This property and its host are simply outstanding. Located in the North Yorkshire countryside, the property is a converted barn, adjacent to the main farmhouse. While retaining the charm of the old structure, it has thoroughly modern kitchen and bathrooms. The is an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor as well as an en-suite bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom and bath open to a small sitting area that overlooks the living space below. The main living area has a large television mounted...

「The pod we stayed in was beautifully clean and well maintained. It had lovely little touches like a small milk in the fridge waiting for when you arrived, each bed space had its own towels (including bath towels) so that was a nice touch also. The only thing I would recommend is that the view from the front of the pod isn’t the same on the photos due to new lodges being built so when we got there it was a little disappointing not to have that view and just a little suggestion now new lodges are...

「Beautiful cottage - ideally situated for exploring North Yorkshire. Like a home from home with everything you need to cater for yourself, although the town has several nice restaurants to choose from. Hosts are on site if you need them although we had no problems. The cottage we stayed in (Bransdale) had a lovely private garden for us to sit in with a little blackbird family coming in and out. Just perfect.」

「The cottage was perfect for our family break. Well equipped and cosy. We loved making a fire in the evening and playing board games. We also enjoyed exploring the local area and found some great restaurants. We were lucky with the weather so made the post of it with visits to Whitby, Scarborough, Dalby Woods, the Moors and of course Pickering village. Great family break. Highly recommend.
