"I had a lovely stay at a charming hotel overlooking one of the canals in Amsterdam. Waking up to the peaceful water views and classic canal houses was such a special experience. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. A perfect spot to enjoy the beauty and charm of Amsterdam. "

"An elegant, cosy and welcoming hotel that we looked forward to returning to at the end of each busy day exploring the city. The area is upmarket, with lovely shops, pharmacy, small supermarket and restaurants just around the corner. We stayed 5 nights. The room on the first evening wasn't ideal for us but the reception staff acted immediately to arrange an alternative for our stay. All the members of staff throughout the hotel were friendly, polite and attentive. A special mention for the housekeeping staff who ensured our room was immaculate for returning to in the afternoon/evening. Very comfortable mattress with a deep topper and soft, good quality bedding. I definitely recommend going for the hearty breakfast and you'll be warmly welcomed by Sam and team. The transport network is brilliant in Amsterdam and easy to use, tap in/out. If you have large bags or suitcases I'd recommend that from Amsterdam Zuid train station take the Station Zuid number 5 tram which stops off close to the hotel. Use google maps to see the tram destination and stops along the way and to live track your journey. Having looked at many, many hotel websites prior to booking, I'm very happy that I chose the Apollofirst Boutique Hotel. We will certainly book to stay there again on our next visit to Amsterdam. "

"Really nice hotel. Very close to Paradiso if you're attending a concert there. To be honest it was such a good price compared to other hotels we looked at we didnt have high hopes. Booked because of proximity to Paradiso. Needn't have worried as it really surpassed our expectations. Its on a busy main road/canal so if you are looking for somewhere quiet this may not be for you as quite noisy at night. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Good choice for breakfast too. "
