This B&B is a gem. When you meet the owners you feel you have always been friends. I also particularly liked the comfortable old-worldly furnishings. I will certainly stay here again next time I come through Nevada.

Place charming, owners charming, wonderful peacocks and dogs very welcome. However, it's 30 minutes from Beatty (even though that's its address) and the nearest restaurant for dinner. After driving all day, no fun having to drive further for dinner! Also no refrigerator and no cups in the bathroom.

Nigel and Jennifer were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and timely Property had a nice refreshing pool. The peacocks were a very pleasant addition. Nigel gave some very good attraction advice. We stayed in the Asian room which was clean and well prepared. The night sky was beautiful. We had nice discussions with other guests and enjoyed our stay very much.

This was our first visit to the Shady Lady and it won't be our last! Jennifer and Nigel are such warm and welcoming people -- they were a joy to converse with. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. A nice place overall.

Nigel and Jen were fantastic hosts! The property is beautiful! Being in the middle of the desert was such a wonderful experience, and the night sky was incredible! I really appreciated the amazing hospitality, the doggies, the peacocks, and the fantastic conversations! Breakfast was delicious and it was nice chatting with the other guests staying there!

We found you need to have eaten or brought food before checking in. Nearest store and or restaurant was over 30miles away. The breakfast was great!
