Ease into heaven – at Gwynaeth Gwyn you just want to sit, or float and stare. The feel is remote, the views are superb. From the hot tub you look across the bay and the sandy beach is just a short walk along a footpath. To reach this dramatic spot you wind slowly up through bucolic lanes to land at your delightful space. A large, lawned garden has uninterrupted views over the bay and there are delightful areas hidden away such as the orchard and the woodland firepit area.
Pour a long lazy drink while the children tumble about on the lawn or splash in the pool. The hot tub is great for a soak at dusk and the terrace with sea views is a yoga stretch from the house. Gather around in the shade of the trees with blankets at the fire pit -a great spot for a night cap under the stars, Inside the spacious kitchen has everything you need to cook for a full house and those views follow you everywhere! Fling open the patio doors and soak up the sea - the Aga will share the load and the chef will love the induction hob on the work island and space to chop the salad. Outside are several places to eat.
This is a house made for groups (no single sex groups please) – decide if you wish to sit in front of the wood burner in the cosy downstairs living room or sit and admire the birds eye views from the incredible upstairs sitting room. There's a handy bar area here, and a conservatory garden room for extra space. Pour out onto the balcony on sunny evenings and watch the rest of the group splash in the pool.
There is also a rather grand office for the workaholics. A handy boot room caters for the clan.
For sleeping, talk about rooms with a view – garden, sea or pool! A sleek ground floor sofa bed double bedroom is perfectly placed for the swimmers in the group. With a roomy ensuite to shower and wash away after the pool soak, you are soon ready for the next adventure. Upstairs are four more bedrooms. The large main super king bedroom is heavenly with an art deco feel. A great ensuite too. Another king next door – a room with a sea view. A calming double room faces lawn and a cute room with a single bed and a handy child bed too. This floor is not short of a bathroom or two. The sleek generous grey bathroom is perfect for the sandy showers. The cosy teal bathroom has the best views for a soak.
Big gatherings or groups of friends or family will love the luxurious lodge.
There's plenty of space here. A double room with ensuite, a bunk room and a twin make a perfect pad for 6. The balcony is a real surprise and of course you can cook in the swish kitchen or join the party across at the main house
