“Had a nice stay at the Eagle's Nest. The view of the lake was breathtaking. Very close to stores and recreational areas. During my time there, I went to the Sanford Historical Museum before check-in, walked along the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, and mostly relaxed at the cottage watching and listening to nature. Also, I saw an otter/gopher near the end of the lawn strip and got close enough to see its head pop out of the burrow. Anyway it was a nice, relaxing getaway trip and hope to come back……

“Grill didn’t work. Needed to be a bit more manicured outside in the yard. I’m a light sleeper so the cabin is located right off a very busy street. The cabin had a musty smell. But other than that we still had a very great time. I think it was a bit over priced for the stay.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was so cute and had great furnishings- we especially loved the large smart tv, and the bed was SO COZY! It is located right on the river and we loved the access to the two kayaks! The host also provided s’mores ingredients for us which were thoroughly enjoyed. Special shout out the host who noticed we left a belonging and is now mailing it back to us!! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy stay with access to a great outdoor……
