“We had an amazing stay, the location of the house was perfect, and we were in easy reach of all the hikes, climbing, and other activities we planned for the week. Everything was amazing until the area took a direct hit from a tornado knocking out power for the rest of the week. The manager did a good job of communicating with us about the power outage (this house does not have a generator) so the lack of power in the entire area was not what we hoped for on our vacation but is also not the fault……

The owners were very responsive and even accommodated late date changes. The house was great with a large yard (including a fenced in back yard and a fenced in section of the field for the dog). “This is a perfect rental. The owner, Mike, was terrific and very communicative. Due to a major storm event, the power was out in the area for over 24 hours and he came through to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The unit was stocked with everything you could want (pots, pans, utensils, condiments, etc). The beds were comfortable. It was very clean, cleaner than any we’ve stayed in. It was very walkable to town, which we walked to several times a day. Wood was even provided……
