22 flights of stairs if lifts are out of action!
The view of Bedford from the apartment is amazing. The beds were really comfy and the apartment on the whole was welcoming. The amenities left a lot to be desired, no toiletries, no tea and coffee, only 2 towels (when the booking was made for 3 people) and no hairdryer!
We cooked and had a few drinks on the first night in the apartment, it was a fairly nice place and was comfortable enough to have a night in.
On day 2 we arrived back to the hotel, after sampling a few drinks in the local pubs, to find that neither of the 2 lifts were working. A little tipsy, 11 floors and 22 flights of stairs later we were a little annoyed.
The next day the lifts still weren’t working and we had to make the trip down the 22 flights of stairs with our luggage, only to realise that once we had left the car park one of us had to go back up and down the stairs to leave the key in the lock box!!
Avoid if you can’t risk having to walk up a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, but, if you’re in relatively good health, then this is a reasonable place to stay and relatively cheap for the location.
