"I've stayed here before and been very pleased. It would have gotten 5 stars for sure but for the fact that the desk had the sticky residue of spilled coffee on it. Missing something like that made me suspect about everything in the room. The rest of the room did seem great and is VERY well appointed with refrigerator, decent kitchen facilities, comfortable beds etc. BUT, niggling in my head was doubts about the chambermaid service and was it really clean. Last time we stayed the place was spotless, maybe a bad day - who knows. I'll give it another chance as it is really a nice facility with helpful pleasant staff."

"The room was easy to find, quiet, comfortable and mostly clean. There were blobs of some unidentified orange substance (probably shampoo?) on the inside of the shower curtain and some noticeable dust and hairs on top of the blow dryer plug. The parking lot is quite small, if you don't get there early you'll have to park on the street and it's not a great area of the city crime-wise. The free breakfast was pretty minimal but nice to have, although I wished there was some kind of hand washing or sanitization available somewhere in the area. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. Overall a good stay, for the price."

"This was our first visit to Sandman Hotel and Suites in Prince George. We stayed at the hotel for nine nights in August 2026. The staff at the front desk is very professional, courteous, helpful, and friendly. We travel often and stay at a variety of hotels. The front desk staff at this hotel easily ranks among the highest we have ever experienced. They truly care that your stay exceeds your expectations. The housekeeping staff is highly competent and motivated to ensure that every one of our needs was met. They are very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Other reviews have mentioned that the bathrooms are small. They are small, but they are perfectly functional and easily met our needs with two guests in one room. The tub and toilet area is separate from the vanity, which is very useful for two people getting ready in the morning. Other reviews have also mentioned that the parking lot is a bit tight. This is true, however I believe there is additional parking behind the hotel. We had no significant problems with our crossover vehicle. Overall, we are extremely impressed with this hotel, and we will be returning for another stay in September. Excellent customer service is rare these days, but Sandman Hotel and Suites certainly knows how to impress its guests and ensure customer loyalty!"
