“Two families visiting Beech together. We had the most wonderful time and found this home to suit our needs perfectly. Close to everything we wanted to do yet quiet enough to provide us with the rest we needed after a long day of activity. The house is well stocked and we were not without any amenity that we needed. Cozy and quaint. The entire group was over the moon about feeding deer right from the deck!”

“We had the best little stay at this adorable cabin! We had two families, 4 kids (ages 10-13) and they loved the loft area. The bottom level bed was SO comfy, kitchen fully stocked and plenty of available towels. Easy navigation to Beech Mountain resort for skiing, great iced lattes at First Chair Coffee Shop and yummy family dinners at both Famous Brick Oven Pizza (kids loved the arcade and ice cream) and Bullwinkels (great pasta and sammies!). “Enjoyed our stay, host was responsive, and the house was easy to find and access. About 10-12 minute drive to Beech Mountain resort. Found it a little odd there was no hand soap at the house for washing hands. This included both bathrooms, and in the kitchen. With how much this house cost, I would have imagined little things like hand soap would be taken care of prior to checking in. Overall it was a great time and a nice house. ”

“Great place for a late season, wintery couples getaway! Even had a picturesque snowy morning. Had a little trouble finding it because my navigation wanted me to take a road that's closed, but we just went around the other way. Host was quick to answer questions about the gas fireplace. No yard space for the dog to go to the bathroom, but we made do with walks. Would definitely stay again.”

“The property was very adequate for our large family group with lots of room for kids to play. Beds were comfortable and the big dining table was great for family meals. The house needs some maintenance upkeep. Sliding screen door was sitting on the outdoor table. The grill was unusable and the pull out couch was broken. The downstairs shower curtain needs to be replaced. We did enjoy the cool weather of Beech Mountain and the fireworks were amazing.”

“Great location! We walked to Fred’s general store and deli. The sledding hill was only a short walk too. We were looking for snow and we found plenty of it there for our kids to enjoy! The place had 2 living rooms and fireplaces which was great. Kids loved playing the arcade game. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub on deck by the flowing creek was very relaxing. We saw lots of deer in the front yard and by the creek. Would stay here again! ”

“We've stayed at Beech a ton of times and this was by far the most updated and cleanest place we've been in. Typically if it's pet friendly you can see or detect dog hair, but that was not the case. My husband even asked if I was sure that it was. Ha! My teens loved the basement set up and the fire pit/hot tub and my dog loved the side yard! The owners were super responsive and there to help with any small issues that came up!! Highly recommend!”

“Overall our experience was very good. The views were amazing and the place looked recently renovated. A few things were not working properly, like indoor fireplace, cabinet drawers and dishwasher. Also, bear cage was completely full, so no available space for trash for a 4 day stay. Limited dresser space available. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nice. Great open concept. ”
