"Great location, however the access was a bit tricky. We reached there in the night and the maps were inaccurate. Staff were very friendly and organized a great Easter egg hunt for kids. "We spent several nights at Lux following 4 nights at a neighbouring hotel as part of our honeymoon. The service was what really let it down the most unfortunately, especially in direct comparison to the other hotel we stayed in, which was exceptional. I was surprised that this is a 5* hotel as the standard of service is more in line with a 4*. "A cozy resort with a lovely small beach area directly in front of the hotel, with the longer beach area easily accessible too. Hotel staff were all genuine, very friendly and helpful. Rooms all very big with balconies, sofa and seat in room and huge bathroom with walk in wardrobe area. Restaurant was nice with enough food choices but not huge ranges (with corresponding huge waste usually!) like other bigger resorts might have. Drinks and food not included in your plan were close to London...

"We had a wonderful time with our two children at Heritage Le Telfair. Kids club and babysitting services were great. We managed to get an evening to ourselves at the adults only Indian restaurant where chef Harry Singh cooked up a delicious meal. Having Josh as our personal butler was fantastic, he ensured our every request was fulfilled without delay. Service in the restaurants and around the pool became a little slow as the resort became busier, so that could be an area for improvement."

"Our home for the week was fantastic, clean and comfortable with the air conditioner being a saviour. The turn down service was great, though missed for a couple of nights or 3. Unfortunately there was no filter coffee in the room, although I had enquired about that before arrival, and was told that there was filter coffee. The various restaurants were good value food-wise, with the Teak elephant being the best, in our opinion. I used the gym a few times and was impressed with the equipment."
