We opted for breakfast delivered to our room and there was such a lot, bacon sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc. The cabins are laid out in such a way that you forget you have neighbours, so quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing night away. "Fabulous cottage in a quiet setting. Airy and light & welcoming. Nice big dining kitchen with (more than!) everything we needed. View from sitting room over the hills was lovely. A great position to trek out from - so near to Cragside National Trust, which is a must! We also visited Wallington & Gibside NT & Holy Island. Thankyou for entrusting us with your home from home - we will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area."

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable.
