"A comfy and spacious room. Easy check in and good communications from reception to let me know check in was available earlier too. The room had a few maintenance issues which I reported when leaving. The hot water was good but kept needing adjustments to keep the pressure up. There were some Ice-creams left in the freezer from a previous guest which showed to me the cleaning wasn’t thorough. And the freezer wasn’t cold enough to maintain the frozen treats in any case. The carpets had wear and stains in a few places but generally the room was a good place to stay. I did like the toiletries. They had nice fragrances. I would return and also recommend this place for the price we paid."

"The bulb in my bedside lamp failed during the night. On a whim, I mentioned this in my check-in review. (I idly wondered who reads these reviews anyway). Within 5 minutes I had a knock at the door - the lamp was fixed immediately. I was astounded. Not only do they read the reviews - they act on them. I intended to mention the bulb when I saw one of the staff. To me it wasn't that big a deal as I wouldn't need the light until that night. The reaction I received assured me that to the proprietors any infraction was something to be remedied at once. You can't buy that sort of dedication."

"This place is just right for us. It is central to so many attractions, places and events in Canberra, Yass, Goulburn and especially our families. It feels like home and when we stay as we're not living in our family's pocket or expecting them to put t to accommodate us. The staff at.the Thunderbird motel are kind, helpful and especially attentive to our stay."
