Housed in the most central district of Berlin (Mitte), Guesthouse Moabit’s apartments are in a quiet street within a lively central neighbourhood that is well connected to the local sights. The nearest subway station, Turmstraße, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot, the metro station Beusselstrasse is just 10 minutes by foot or a 3 minute bus trip away; and many buses to get around the city are accessible in under 3 minutes. A direct bus to the central train station allows a comfortable commute to BER airport by train.

The apartments are bright, cosy, and seek to create a homelike atmosphere. They are all equipped with either a kitchen or a smaller kitchenette that includes hobs, a minifridge, and an electric kettle along with basic cooking implements. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. WiFi connectivity is available in all areas and street parking is possible in the surrounding blocks.

The beautiful river Spree is just around the corner and the nearby streets are dotted with numerous cafés, eateries, and bars. Berlin’s large Tiergarten park is a very short bus ride away and the well-known shopping avenue, Ku’damm, is 3 subway stops from Turmstraße.

(!) We offer this flat for a lower price than other flats in the building because it is on the fourth floor without an elevator. If you have mobility issues we do not recommend booking the apartment (otherwise it's great cardio training ;) ). If you prefer to live on a lower floor, please feel free to contact us and we will check the availability for you.

Great host, great location, unclean bathroom

The host was very nice, place is easy to check into, and is located near a good amount of food and transit options. The place comes with a fridge, kitchen, coffee maker, spices, and coffee grounds so you can cook if you’d like to save money. The owner also provided towels upon request. The wifi was rather slow and required a few restarts to maintain a good connection. The bathroom was pretty bad, the toilet uses a shallow “poop shelf” in older German design which requires constant flushing when pooing or else the scent becomes a problem. The bathroom also just seemed unclean with the corners of the shower having some layer of dirt or mold on them. Also note that you need to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach the unit.

Ich bin durch die Umgebung erschrocken, wenn ich das vorher gewusst hätte in welchem Stadtteil die Ferienwohnung liegt, hätte ich bei einem anderen Vermietungsportal gebucht. Für 200 das Wochenende hätte ich mir mehr Komfort und eine bessere Ausstattung gewünscht. Die Bettdecken waren total dreckig und versüfft. Wir werden bei Ihnen nicht mehr buchen.

Studio fonctionnel, sans rideaux occultants

Le lieu est bien agencé et calme. Il n'y une qu'une pièce de vie /chambre. Et il n'y a pas de rideaux occultants, il fait donc clair au lever du soleil ce qui peut être dérangeant. Il y fait calme, c'est en arrière maison, donc pas sur la rue. Beaucoup de transports autour, beaucoup de restaurants aussi.

Von dem Foto hätte man etwas mehr erwartet

Wir waren enttäuscht , dass niemand da war, um uns zu begrüßen. Tatsächlich öffnet sich der Schlüsselkasten nicht sofort, wenn man den Code eingibt, und die böse Überraschung war, dass es keinen Aufzug gab!!! Unsere Wohnung war im 4. Stock, eine Tragödie mit Gepäck in die Wohnung zu kommen. Es gibt keine dunklen Vorhänge an den Fenstern... also wird man morgens von hellem Licht geweckt. Es gibt keinen Eimer und keinen Mopp, um den Boden zu reinigen.Die Fenster lassen sich schlecht schließen und es gibt viel Zugluft. Es gab keine zusätzlichen Decken.....Außerdem ist das Viertel sehr schmutzig, wenn man mit einem Hund kommt, sollte man vorsichtig sein viele Glasscherben auf der Straße, Essensreste und verschiedene andere schmutzige Dinge... auf der anderen Seite gibt es viele Restaurants, von denen einige sehr nett sind und anständige Mahlzeiten zu vernünftigen Preisen anbieten... Vom Hauptbahnhof aus empfehle ich ein Taxi zu nehmen, wenn man schweres Gepäck hat, Taxis sind nicht teuer... wennschweres Gepäck hat, Taxis sind nicht teuer...

Die Wohnung war in der 5 Stock keine Lift Vorhanden mit Koffer sehr anstrengend .Die Wohnug war sehr Kalt die Heizung war nicht hut WLAn hat nicht funktioniert.

5th story walk up, as per the listing. The accommodations were spartan. Bed and linens were clean, kitchen was adequate. 57 Euro per night, you get what you pay for.

Great little Apartment

This was a sweet and simple apartment with an easy location to all things Berlin. Working with the owners was super easy and they responded with answers to any questions that we had. It was great exercise walking up 5 flights of stairs. Just sad that there was no close parking. We would have no problem staying there again.

It's NOT one bedroom, it's one room combined living/dining/bedroom, for 3 people as for us son, brother and I was too small. It was a bit far with public communication to center or Berlin. One of the heaters in that room didn't work. Two pictures on the "Bedroom" section of pictures are incorrect. Some of the pictures are taking from the stairway. We were on the 4th. floor, just a reminder to Americans, 4th. floor in Germany means 5th. floor in America. BUT umbrellas were offered free of charge, and we used those few times. I enjoyed the chairs and little sofas between floors since I don't exercise and am 66 years old, I could rest for a minute and catch my breath.

Great location and hospitable host

Great location - colourful and quiet, and within easy reach of the tourist centre. There's a tram stop about 5 - 10 minutes walk away that takes you to the train station and beyond. There are supermarkets, take aways and lots of eateries and cafes nearby. The apartment has tea, coffee, oil and stuff for cooking, which is thoughtful. Yes, the bathroom could do with a refurb - the toilet is old but clean, and it does take a few steps to reach the apartment, but we really enjoyed our stay here and will return.
