The room was warm and clean, bed comfortable, big enough but no wardrobe and the metal structures are soon exposed and make one feel tired. Staff are very friendly. No kettle in the room and for those who would want to be served breakfast not available just little snacks, it near to the shopping centre so you're not cut of from the world.

Das Zimmer. Auf Zimmer 111, Ebene 1 ist folgendes defekt: 1. Sauberkeit Heizkörper ( Bad) 2. Beim Föhn ist der Griff gebrochen und die Elektronik liegt frei 3. Kasten für Fußbodenheizung ist “lose” und klappert bei jeder Türschliessung auf der Etage unüberhörbar 4. Spülung ist defekt und bleibt innen immer hängen 5. Kopfkissen sind durchgelegen und eines stinkt auffällig

Den Code zum Öffnen des Haupteingangs bekommt man scheinbar erst nach dem online check in. Check in im Gebäude ist rechts vom Schalter - leider steht am Schalter ein Tablet mit dem man zwar einchecken kann aber die Keycard für das Zimmer nicht programmieren kann. Ein Kasten im Zimmer wäre super. Die Zubereitung des Frühstücks hat sehr lange gedauert, weil eine Person vom Personal krank war - dafür war es jedoch gratis. Danke!

Check-in Katastrophe, mehrfache Versuche einen Check-in nach 20.00 Uhr hinzubekommen scheiterten, so dass wir dann das Abendessen abgebrochen haben und zum Hotel mit dem Taxi gefahren sind. Dort auch vor 20.00 Uhr kein Check-in Schalter besetzt. Personal musste aus dem Gym geklingelt werden. Unsere Buchungsnummer wurde beim self Check-in nicht erkannt. Der Hinweis an Feiertagen wäre der Check-in nicht besetzt war wenig hilfreich . Die mehrfache Bitte uns das Prozedere Check-in im Vorfeld per Mail mitzuteilen scheiterte an der Mailbox, die die Ansage enthielt, mailbox sei voll und daher könnten keine Nachrichten mehr aufgenommen werden. Um 19.18 Uhr als wir im Taxi saßen erhielt ich dann per Mail einen Zugangscode, die Buchungsnummer wurde aber letztlich nicht erkannt. Der Tag war dadurch angespannt und das Abendessen gecrasht. Ein No Go bei dem Preis !!! Die Gemeinschaftsküche für heißes Teewasser aufgesucht, ein eklig dreckiger Ort mit überquellendem Mülleimer. Das Hotel hätte Potenzial !!! Frühstück war ok, allerdings nur ein Minikaffee incl.

We arrived at 11 am (check-in was at 3 pm). The receptionist stored our luggage, knowing we would return late after sightseeing in Berlin. What they never told us is that the front desk closes at 8 pm. We came back around 9 pm and faced the following: • Reception closed and no staff available. • A self check-in machine that did not work. • Our luggage locked in a staff-only room with no access for guests. We had to ask another guest (who kindly waited with us for over an hour and a half) to call the so-called “emergency line.” The response was useless: they said someone could only come the next day at 7 am, when we already had to leave at 5 am for our flight. They even claimed they had no idea where our luggage was. In the end, I was forced to break the lock to retrieve our belongings — otherwise, we would have missed our flight. The hotel never sent an email warning about the reception closing hours (or remind us) and didn’t even bother to place our luggage in the room assigned to us. This was a frustrating, irresponsible, and unsafe experience: • No staff anywhere to help. • No way to contact anyone unless you have a European phone number. • Poorly visible signs about reception closing hours. • A completely useless “emergency” service. If it hadn’t been for the kindness of another guest, we would have had to sleep in the lobby and lose our flight. Terrible management, zero hospitality, and zero responsibility. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

As the name suggests this is a great place to base yourself for a Berlin trip. Train links 10-15 minutes on foot or 5 by tram/bus. The room was basically an apartment with all you could need. Clean and tidy.
