"Had an amazing stay at the Underberg. The staff were super friendly and the owners took well care of us as well as everyone else! It's situated in a great neighbourhood in Tamboerskloof with only 2-3 minutes walk to amazing restaurants and bars. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back when I visit Cape Town again!"

The best thing about it were the people who looked after me and were beyond helpful before I arrived arranging my airport pick up, waiting for me when my baggage got lost and taking me back to the airport to collect it. "A nice hotel with very good and helpful staff. The room and bathroom was large and spacious. It is on a slightly noisy and busy street. There is a great African restaurant one block away called Marcos. Easy walk to long street For the hop on hop off bus. "
