Comfortable and Friendly place

Lynne and Steve are friendly and fun hosts who couldn’t have done any more to make our stay a wonderful one. From offering recommendations and local directions to making an incredible breakfast, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back - thank you!

Fantastic hosts, very friending and helpful. Lovely property. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Well positioned for Northumberland attractions and Edinburgh also accessible. Hugely enjoyable stay and well priced.

Quality room with high standards

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very clean and had a large shower and the facilities were excellent. The breakfast was excellent, with good quality food. We could feel the difference in this place in terms of quality.

Great location and hosts. Lovely, spacious accomodation. Fresh milk and water in room fridge is a lovely touch. On street parking but no problems with finding space very close to premises.

Used this B&B to break up travel from a holiday in Scotland. Was really pleased I chose this accommodation, very clean and comfortable and the full English breakfast was superb, would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a break in Berwick.

Alannah House is an excellent place to stay,convenient for the town, coast and railway station. We had a large room that was spotlessly clean and very well equipped Lynn and Steve were friendly, helpful hosts and breakfast was very good We would definitely recommend.

I’ll be back

Lovely place to stay. Everything you could possibly need when away from home. Liked the umbrellas available if needed and a choice of books if you enjoy reading. It’s the extra touches that let you know that your hosts are trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Many choices for breakfast, we struggled to decide. Location good as near town centre and parking couldn’t be closer. Nice and quiet during the night. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alannah House to anyone regardless of age.

Charming hosts with a friendly welcome. Everything and more has been thought about. Comfortable bed, shutters on the windows to block out the light. Delicious breakfast, nothing was too much trouble.
