"This is my go to hotel whenever I'm in Hull. The speed of check-in, the friendliness of ALL the staff: reception, bar, hygiene they are a credit to the place. It's perfectly placed too, just a short walk from the railway station and the marina, close to great shopping areas too, but more importantly it's ideally situated for exploring Old Town. "

"Everything easy no hassle at all made to feel welcome with my dogs. The only thing I didn’t like was the expensive rib eye steak Definately not worth the cost it was like a bar meal so next time we stay shall be looking for a steak restaurant. Other than that I would Definately recommend."

"Reception staff were a delight; provided comprehensive overview of hotel and facilities on arrival; very welcoming too; nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Bar staff amiable and efficient. Room upgraded at no cost which was a welcome surprise. A comfortable nights sleep was experienced in a clean well maintained room. Will definately stay here again. "Good amount of parking on site. Over the road from the talbot yard and a short walk into the market square. Good for foodies when the Saturday food market is on. We had dinner in the onsite restaurant on the first night of our stay (steak), my partner asked for medium rare but some of it was underdone. He should have raised it at the time but I mentioned it at the end of the meal and and we were highly satisfied with how they addressed it and with utmost professionalism. I asked for mine to be cooked medium and it was lovely and the sticky toffee pudding was lush! (Note that the onion rings are more like onion petals but they were very nice). The bar is a great space for a relaxing drink and there's some nice grounds round the back of the hotel which you can walk round. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely ensuite bathroom, although some of the furniture was a bit tired (chipped paint and one of the bed side lamps blew, which i reported and it was taken away). Despite some of the issues (which were dealt with), I would certainly stay again when back in Malton."
