Two miles, or a ten minute drive from the property is Beynac-Et-Cazenac, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France and home to a medieval castle that also forms the view from the chateau’s hot tub. Just a few miles further afield is the medieval town of Sarlat-La-Caneda, famous for its cuisine.
Wineries at Bordeaux and St-Emilion are within easy reach and many operators offer hot air balloon flights over this famous region.
