「This place was okay- it served our needs. A few complaints- generally a dingy smell throughout the house, felt damp. The bathroom shower curtain has no liner so the curtain itself was very moldy. The grass wasnt mowed so I worried about ticks. The water tasted a little musty too but maybe thats just a Maine thing? Also the communication was pretty terrible with both the vrbo host and the property management company and I had a lot of trouble contacting them and getting the receipts I needed....

「Property was exactly as described. Perfect lodging for our group of four and easy location for our Kennebunkport/Portland/Freeport weekend trip. Communication with Nick and Kayla was easy.」

「This little house was absolutely charming! The owners were very accommodating and flexible with our dates and last minute booking. The house is incredibly cozy and the outdoor porch was a big hit. The location of this house is also amazing as you have access to the ocean, marsh and a beautiful pond. E would love to return with our grandkids who would love it! Thank you Shannon and Jim for sharing your special house with us!」

「The property is very close to I 95 making it very convenient to commute to portland. It is close to a grocery store. It was clean and the pictures were accurate. Our family of 6 had a nice stay.」

「The property was very nice and what my family needed. It was exactly what I expected of a beach bungalow in the OOB area. The beds were surprising and so comfortable and while the shower was small, the water pressure was so nice. We would absolutely come back! The owner was very communicative and quick to respond.」

「Location was excellent with great access to the beach. Beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The main living area is a bit tight for a large group. The site should be updated to state that 3 of the bedrooms are king which is really nice and that there is baby stuff available like high chairs and pack and play. We brought our own, not knowing. Overall our family enjoyed their stay!」

「GREAT property in a great location! Perfect for us to have as a central base for discovering different little beach towns each day. The property is so well done - love the decor and all of the special touches! Brandon is a great and thoughtful host. He left desserts for my retiring husband! (Go to Paris bakery!)We had wonderful meals at Mabel’s, the Boathouse, and Chez Rosa! Shopping and galleries are amazing! Coastline, character, old houses - priceless! We absolutely loved coming “home” after...

「Overall a great stay, really close to the beach. Has everything one would need for a beach vacation! The property is listed as pet friendly but property owner has stipulations and additional refundable deposit was required which isn't spelled out in the listing. Otherwise great stay!」

「Low amenities, kitchenware. 」

「absolutely stunning views from the roof, very close to the beach and close to lots of activities for the grands. the host is quick and thorough with all communication.」

「Family vacation in August 2026 in OOB was fun. Location was great…short walk to a beautiful beach and all attractions. The house was very clean and the downstairs was comfortable and roomy. The kitchen appliances were very nice and the outdoor patio was super. I would definitely recommend this house for a family vacation.」

「So convenient and Katie is the best!!」
