"We had a wonderful stay at Strawhouse Resort. The property is beautiful, with the cafe and patio along the river. Good pizza and coffee roasted on site. Amazing hospitality from Don, Julia and all the Strawhouse team. We stayed in the yurt. What a fun experience. It was cozy and well appointed. This area along the Trinity River is so beautiful. "

"The guests that we met on property were awesome including the people they checked us in and worked the property. The property and cabin needed work. Lots of holes throughout mosquito netting. Most light switches and outlets didn’t work. Fridge didn’t work. Shower had hot water that lasted 5 mins. Futon in living was so wrapped and worn that just sitting on it gave you back pain. The surrounding area is beautiful and my son loves the grounds, games and people but the accommodations were...
