The place matched the description well. The rooms are good sizes and the two masters had huge walk-in closets (a couple can easily sleep in there with an air mattress..). The place was spacious and had lots of amenities. The property is very close to a k-mart shopping center in case you forgot something. They had nice amount of house supplies like plates, silverware, stuff like that. I like the dinning table, 10-12 person table.
My issues with the property are: 1) Numerous burnt out light bulbs (you would think they would check that kind of stuff before a rental) - the property management company managed to replace a few. Not all due to not having the right bulbs. 2) There is no AC and we went on a warm weekend.... no bueno. Only one room had a ceiling fan and the other over the kitchen table. That's it. Folks were miserable for a while until night when it cooled down. Still, I would recommend they install more ceiling fans or put a couple of box fans in the storage area so people can utilize them. The great room/living area was the hottest while the bedrooms were a bit cooler. 3) The hot tub was bad. It looked and smelled like a pool of acid. WAYYY too much chemical. Luckily, the management company responded quickly and dispatched the spa company and they drained and cleaned it again. However, the heating mechanism didn't work. The highest we could get was somewhat-warm (luckily it was a warm weekend). 4) I understand we're in the Forrest but the house had MAJOR ant issues. 5) The yard is completely dead, both front and back... again, you'd think they would clean it up a bit. If it is "drought like" landscaping I get it but when it's just dead tall grass all over where you can't really walk around it, I'd at least chop it down or something.
