Stayed here a few times now. Don’t expect this hotel to be like any other Ramada. In the night time the outside of the main entrance is quite dark. To my total embarrassment I walked into the glass door causing a lot of paint to certain areas of my face. Receptionist had mentioned it’s happend a few times because the previous sigh has come off and no one bothered to replace it. I’ve stayed here a few time and know one door is closed and still to my stupidity thought oh second door is opened too. Yes this is my fault but a sign on the door was simple to replace. My first room was right next to the corridor door. There doors have very old closures on them which slam shut. My bed at one point was shaking so much with obvious reasons the room next door were playing very exciting games. Luckily my room was changed. So don’t have high expectations of this place it’s a standard 2/3 star place. Needs a good modernisation upgrade.

All our party enjoyed their stay, liked the location being close to Birmingham with the available easy access. All the staff were polite and professional and nothing was too much trouble.
Only downsides, the rooms we had 2/4 were 'tired', in need of refurbishment and room 4 obviously has suffered from past water damage, architraves/bathroom door etc. So on initial arrival the room on presentation had a damp/musty odour. We alleviated this by opening the window to allow fresh air in and then settled in for our stay. Others may not have been so accommodating. That is the reason for the 4 star review

Twin room booked and was put in a disabled room. Which had broken wardrobe handles, dirty walls, beds both were hard a rock with springs sticking in your body. Bathroom facilities very poor. Asked for shsmpoo or conditioner had neither. Room was disgraceful. From the 70s. When I asked why we were put in a disabled old room. No reaction from receptionist. Totally not bothered. Extremely disappointed and let down by Ramada. It was a special stat which was completely ruined and not as much as an apology.

This property is so amazing and honestly has potential to fully push for more. I think they act like they know so every guest needs that special treatment all the time. They should know that other guests are from "Royal Service" background so never judge a book by the cover. I love it and i will definitely book again for front facing room on the 3rd floor. I was in room 316 and its at the back side of the horel...see you again guys. Thanks...😊😄
