It's quite a basic hotel but great for an overnight or short stay. It was comfortable, clean and had what we needed. Walls are a little thin so sound travels. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel was situated conveniently close to the event we attended. Whilst the room served its purpose for a one night stay it was not in the best of repair, with a hole in the carpet, coffee stains on the wall, damaged plinth under the shower and no lock on the bathroom door which didn't actually completely close. Paid £8.99 for breakfast which probably was about the right price for what was on offer. We elected for a Full English which in my opinion was missing a few things like mushrooms and there was no Marmalade available. The "chef" could not make poached eggs? The butter was a block on the side table that everyone dipped in to. There was no lift. Would I stay there again? Probably not and I certainly would have my meals elsewhere.

Excellent staff and hotel above lovely pub with free car parking and great craft beers from attic brewery on offer in pub. Also offers buffet breakfast and food options for lunch and dinner look good. Good priced room. Tidy basic room with comfy bed. Tv decent shower and housekeeping once a day if needed. Would defo stay again.
