I loved my stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the bed was very comfortable. It is a historic building so the doors are creaky and the stairs are narrow but this just gives it character. If you are in the area it is a great place to stay.

We stayed to go to a wedding at the Manor over the road. (Really handy to be able to walk to that). Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pub except for breakfast in the morning which was really good, but the pub looked good. Rooms were clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice sandwich shop/deli 2 doors down. Some early morning plane noise (under the flight path to Birmingham airport?), so if you are a light sleeper it might be worth bringing earplugs. Nice place overall, and we'd stay there again.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful, the Breakfast and Evening Meal food was very good. Accommodation location was ideal for our two night stay, only a 10 minutes walk to the railway station and a 3 minute train ride to the Birmingham International station (NEC).

An £85 stay, but definitely not a £116 stay! Whilst it was nice enough, the table that I had my evening meal off hadn’t even been wiped clean at breakfast time.

Nice quiet location but the room was tiny, too small to be called comfortable, getting in and out of the shower was a task in itself. Due to the low water pressure in the building the shower was very weak. The bed was comfy and I slept ok. No wifi in room. Miniscule tv. Staff were friendly, service was good and the food in the pub was reasonable. Would not pay £125 for this room again.

Parking was tight as it was a Saturday night. The evening staff were very busy so checking took a while. It would have been useful to know the time of breakfast instead of queuing to ask. The bin in the bathroom hadn’t been emptied from the previous occupants. The breakfast was good and the person serving was pleasant.
