"Lovely hotel with excellent service. Front desk reception was warm and welcoming. The staff went out of the way to help us resolve some problems we had with car rental, as we spoke no Japanese. The hotel itself is centrally located near the train station and big shopping malls."

"We had three beds and our room was big. Staff was nice. Hotel is clean. Hamburger place was delicious. Only small thing that i was initially concerned about, but ended up with zero impact other than a few laughs, were the men's girly bars across the street."

"The room was spacious but the carpet seemed a bit dirty. There was an iron shaped burned on it (which I found kinda funny) The heater/air conditioning was not available for guests which was not too bad since it’s not too hot yet but I woke up at night because I was sweating and the only solution was to open the window. Unfortunately, it was very loud outside. My main complaint is that the one pillow provided was incredibly hard and I couldn’t sleep properly. :( but still great location and an okay hotel overall. "

"From the moment we walked into the entrance of the Granvia Hotel in Okayama, the magic began. We were greeted with wide smiles and a “happy to see you!” vibe. The one downer was that the luggage we had sent to this hotel was only partially delivered. The wonderful young lady at the front desk (Sato, Sumire) was very sympathetic and went out of her way to help us find the missing luggage. She called “Sagawa” delivery service and informed them of their mistake. The lady from Sagawa told us that our bag was still in Osaka and that it would be delivered the next day. Fortunately, I had an “Apple Air Tag” in the bag and knew the bag was in their Okayama distribution center. Our missing luggage was delivered to our hotel room within a few hours. We will highly recommend this hotel (Grandvia Okayama) to all our friends and anyone who asks. Again, please send our personal thanks to Ms. Sato, Sumire for her help and kindness. "This hotel is at a perfect location for accessing public transportation and seeing the sites. For westerners, the breakfast leaves a little to be desired. "
