- This charming cottage offers a perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway in the countryside. With two well-appointed bedrooms, including a super king-size bed and a flexible single bed with an optional trundle for children, it comfortably accommodates up to three guests. The property is pet-friendly, welcoming one medium-sized dog (with an additional fee). The open-plan living area features a cozy sofa, armchair, and a smart TV for entertainment. A log burner adds to the warmth and ambiance, with an initial basket of logs provided. Outside, there’s a cobbled courtyard and ample parking for up to two cars.
Nestled in the serene surroundings of the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage offers easy access to local attractions. Historic towns like Clitheroe and Longridge are just a short drive away, where you can enjoy independent shops, cafes, and local dining options. Notable attractions include Clitheroe Castle, Bowland Wild Boar Park, and Browsholme Hall. For outdoor enthusiasts, numerous footpaths and the Ribble Way are nearby, perfect for hiking and exploring the beautiful rural landscapes.
The cottage is equipped with all the modern conveniences for a comfortable stay. The kitchen includes a full oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine for added convenience. The bathroom features a generous walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead.
