Fern Tree Cottage is a lovely cottage with everything needed for a relaxing weekend in the mountains. The host is thoughtful and easy to communicate with. Setting is beautiful and close enough to walk in to town. This is our second stay and we will be back!

A quiet little home tucked away in blackheath. A lot of thought has been given to the place from the tv music greeting to a very well stocked kitchen and lovely toiletries too. Really loved it and was very peaceful too.

What a warm welcome

What a warm and cosy stay we had at Blackheath. On a cold day in the mountains, we arrived to find the cottage warm and welcoming with a couple of little treats for us to enjoy. Everything as described and we were very happy that we had chosen Ferntree Cottage.

Quaint. cozy & comfortable cottage in the Blue Mountains

We had a lovely relaxing long weekend in Blackheath, and were very happy with the comfortable well equipped cottage. The fireplace and hot turn were highlights, and the well equiped kitchen an added bonus. Helen was a wonderful host, and heated the cottage up prior to our arrival so that we felt warm and welcome from the minute we arrived, The beds were very comfortable, the house spotlessly clean, communication great &relaxed check in & out times were very convenient. We could not have asked for more & highly recommend.

Great Spot

Beautiful cosy cottage. Every amenity you would need, including generous breakfast supplies and other goodies. Comfortable beds, warm fire, absolutely magnificent. The only blot on our stay and mostly of our making, we hadn't realised the access is up a long set of steps at the side of the cottage and carrying our luggage in was almost a bridge to far. Once we had recovered we had a lovely time and would recommend to guests pethaps a little younger and a bit more mobile than we have become. Thank you for your generous hospitality,
