"This hotel looks fun but don’t bring your family here. We were treated very poorly after a 7hr overnight flight with two young children. Arrived at 10am and they made us wait 7hrs till they finally let us into a room. After being up for 24hrs due to travel we were exhausted & they could tell but they didn’t care. Told us they’d text us when a room was ready but never did. I asked every hour, was told “almost ready” every time. The check in was a joke. Didn’t explain where things were like the elevators, or how the access keys worked. A particularly rude staff member named Zuzu told us it was “too much work to explain it all” to us & just dismissively handed us a sheet of paper with different activity centers on different floors to read through. We sat in one of the activity centers like zombies for 7hrs. Every 30min they’d bring people through on “tours” ostensibly for the residence side of the hotel that sounded like Time Share sales pitches. When we did finally get to our room, it was not as advertised. The door to one of the bedrooms was broken & wouldn’t close. There were large metal shavings scattered out on the balcony rendering it unsafe for the children to be out there. There was also no way to lock the balcony door. The rooms that cost more than $400/night are so bare they didn’t even have Kleenex. These people care exclusively about making money. In 15 years of world travel, we’ve never been treated worse nor paid so much for such a subpar experience."
