「Very spacious and a great dining table for meals and board games. The location was outstanding for walking to restaurants, shopping and people watching from the window. Quiet neighborhood, safe and sound. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the art. There is a lot of art in every room, including the bathrooms. It’s everywhere and it’s shown in the pictures on th website. What I didn’t notice is how many of the paintings had nudity. Which I should have considered looking more closely...

「While the room was clean, the two mattresses were appalling, seriously worn, slanted, and very squeaky. The shade was broken and water oozed up from the bathroom floor. The bed was pushed up against the heater and the curtains came down just above… total fire hazard. Even the microwave carousel was broken. The Lobby Computerized assistant that spoke with a very strong accent made my hearing impaired husband go bonkers. Just wow」

「It was quiet and cozy. The owners were kind when I spoke with them. As was made clear there isn't AC so it did get a little warm over night in the room, but a few minutes with the door open cooled down quick. I would recommend a fan. However, would stay again.」

「Good sized room. Lots of bedding and more for chilly nights. Tiny bathroom. I am small so it worked for me. If I weighed 20 pounds more I would have struggled. The house is very quiet as is the neighborhood which is perfect for a traveler like me.」

「Great and serene location away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. The property was easily one of the most unique experiences, apparently they’re newer to VRBO so setting up and arriving was clunky at first but as soon as I made contact with the host Michaela, it was smooth sailing from there and things were not confusing. Check in and out were clear! Cozy place and there was a bevy of things to do close by, an excellent North Star if you’re visiting Humboldt County for the first time!...
