Strong odor of sewage outside, with RVs that people appear to be living in located directly behind, with a lot of foot traffic back and forth and very thin walls. The key had an ancient pottery sherd as a fob on the room key. A hole had been drilled through this historical artifact. It was shocking and heartbreaking to see these ancient pottery sherds used this way, and treated so disrespectfully.

Was a great place to sleep after a long day of driving and sight seeing. Only con was it was a bit expensive for what it offered, but not many options in the immediate area. Overall was a good experience

This is a great option for Bluff. It's an expensive area for lodging and the Mokee Motel is reasonable. I love driving right up to my room to load/unload. It had a nice outside seating for late afternoon/evening. The main thing I would request is that they add at least a chair to the room. It would have made things better.

An oasis with character

A motel with character, with each room facing east along a deep sheltered walkway and fronted with its own bistro table and chairs, and with some lodge-like character of room furniture. There is a mini fridge, but no desk. Know that by about 9 p.m., the town rolls up the sidewalks, as the saying goes, so be around earlier unless you can suffice with gas station late night snacks. In short, I'd return.

Die Unterkunft war im Allgemeinen okay. Die Klimaanlage allerdings fast unerträglich laut. Die betten viel zu weich. Schön fanden wir, dass wir draußen vor dem Appartement Sitzmöbel und Tisch hatten, wo wir den Abend gemütlich verbringen konnten.

Old but clean

This is a small seven-room motor hotel that despite its age, is in pretty darn good shape. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and comfortable motel to lay your head down, the Mokee Motel is for you. The bathroom and shower area has been recently updated, and the room features comfortable beds, DirecTV, large flat screen TV, microwave, and a small refrigerator. I’d stay here again.

Room was ok. A/C didn't blow cold. Shower had no pressure. Very small room, no place to put suitcases. People in room next to us sat at the picnic table by our window until midnight talking loudly.

Une chambre très bien décorée avec goût. Ambiance country et cozy. Le motel a une très belle enseigne, très vintage mais qui met dans l ambiance rétro western dès qu on arrive. Le prix de $135 pour une nuit est plus que correct. Je recommande vivement ce motel, vous ne le regrettez pas.

In this very remote town, this property offers a comfortable and clean accommodation for the traveler. The room was reasonably appointed with fridge and microwave. It would have helped to have a coffee maker, but not a big deal.
