“I highly recommend staying at Phong Nga Mountain House. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos and very clean. The bed is very comfortable. The hostess and her family showed the epitome of hospitality and thoughtfulness. I arrived too early, so the room wasn't ready. When I came back to check in, the hostess already turned on the AC and hot water for the shower for me. I had to check out at 5am and the hostess was already up and prepare a take away breakfast for me. I would stay……

“Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Nguyen Shack so much! There is such lovely views from the room and eating area. The yoga was amazing and it was so convenient having breakfast there every AM, The staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met,., they truly want you to feel at home. My kids LOVED all of the animals and spent hours hanging out with them. We rented scooters and drove the route they recommended and stopped at Paradise cave. It was such a stunning drive. “This property wasn’t in great condition. The pool needed some love, it had stains and had green algae growing on the metal fixtures. The paint was peeling off of the pool chairs and it didn’t look comfortable. The bedding wasn’t great, the bed was uncomfortably firm and the AC wasn’t working well. We left and found accommodation somewhere else. ”

Right by the river, the boat rides to the Phong Nha caves are literally minutes away. Serene and quiet - A Little Leaf provides value for price. The host was remarkable. Phuong speaks excellent English and was able to arrange transport coming in and dropping us all the way off to Da Nang. “I’m only giving it 3 stars because the room was full of bugs. All bungalows should come with a bed net. Other than that great view of the cave from the resort. ”

“The room was more than what we expected. It was spacious, neat and tidy. The toilet is also quite big, though it smells a little so we always have the toilet cover down. The staff would never miss a chance to sell you national park tour or pick up services(seems to be a norm in that area), but was very nice and are able to communicate in English. They were also very helpful by calling the tourism centre, which we booked our tour to national park since our tour guide was late. Another thing……
