'Harbor Cutie' is right in the center of Bodega Bay and has been enjoyed immensely by our family and our guests. Many happy memories from our families and our guests over the years happened here! Built-in 2000 with 3 bedrooms / 2 full baths, this retreat (sleeps 6-8)is centrally located in the coastal town of Bodega Bay. It has a large 600 deck with a panoramic bay view directly in front of you. For those who love to kayak, they can just bring their kayaks and launch them right across the street or have Bob from Bodega Bay Kayak bring them to you. Want to go on a fishing trip? Just book it and walk across the street and you are on your way. How about horseback riding? Schedule it and have them bring the waiver form and you will be able to walk 5 minutes to your destination. Beaches are within 5 minutes' drive or less away. The closest beach is Doran Beach which is located within 5 minutes drive from the Harbor Cutie and so is Bodega Dune Beach in the back of the property that you can also hike 20-30 minutes. There are at least 4-5 popular restaurants, the Terrapin Creek (was a Michelin star rated), Gourmet Au Bay, Ginochino's Kitchen, Spud Point Crab Company, and Fisherman's Cove, are within walking distance from the Harbor Cutie. The Secret Garden (where most weddings are held) is also on the same street and is less than 5 minutes walk as well. Plenty of outdoor seatings and a big yard with the beast basketball system to keep you entertained. This Harbor Cutie a perfect vacationing spot for any occasion!
This charming escape is conveniently located across the street to Porto Bodega Marina where you can purchase fresh locally caught seafood or book fishing, and crabbing trips depending on the season. Multiple coffee shops, grocery stores, and art galleries are also within easy walking distance or a short drive away.
We are also only minutes from beautiful Bodega Head, the Bodega Marine Lab, and other beautiful beaches. Step over to the Bay for Kayaking, Clamming (low tide only), go crabbing at the jetty in Doran Beach, or just to explore the bay to get your feet wet! Schedule Boat trips, Kayaking trips, and Horseback riding to the beach and possibly walk to your adventure from our house. Or you may want to try a moderate hike to Salmon Creek beach accessible from our property.
Our retreat has modern furnishing that is family-friendly and has most amenities of a home away from home, high chair, stroller, portable child bed/crib, plasma TVs, fast internet access, basic cable and books, as well as toys/ video games for the children and adults. Relax with a glass of wine on the front deck while watching passing boats as well as numerous unique birds. Family with children will love our enclosed front yard and a newly built playhouse where they can play with toys, shoot some basketballs on the Beast system, enjoy a home-cooked meal with our Weber BBQ overlooking the bay in front, or simply relax on the multiple chairs and a large swing provided at the premise. This is truly a superb location for those who enjoy being closer to the water...
House layout: The entry door opens up to the living room, dining room, and kitchen. To the left of the kitchen is the master bedroom with a window looking out to the bay. It has a king-size bed and a twin sleeper sofa and has its own bathroom. On the opposite end of the house is the 2nd bathroom. Next to it is the kids' room with 2 twin sized beds and two additional mattresses underneath. Across the way is the 3rd bedroom with a queen-size bed and it also has a bay view.
Plenty of *parking spaces, basketball, and play areas on the 2,500 plus square feet of the driveway with a bay view. The whole yard is securely enclosed by 3 feet high, 156 feet wide fence, and has optional locks that make it very safe for families with small children. You and your little ones will have a BLAST with so much fun, space, views, and fresh air!

PLAYHOUSE rules and guidelines:
The playhouse at the Harbor Cutie is reserved for children 5 feet 4 and under due to the height limit of the loft with an approximately 10 feet high climbing wall. Parental supervision is required. Please text the owner for the code to access the playhouse if your children would like to have access to the playhouse. Please make sure everything is put back to its original position when done and please remove your shoes when playing inside the playhouse since we have little hands that touch the floor. The owners are not responsible for any injuries or accidents caused while using the playhouse.
