Great location and property, but communication issues with host.
I stayed with my grandparents in this place for about a week. It’s a very good location, about a twenty minute walk from the train station and ten from Piazza Maggore which made it very easy for us to navigate and get around. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. There is a flight of stairs to get up to the apartment which is slightly difficult if you have large luggage but we were able to manage. The main thing that was disappointing was communication with the host. When we were out one day we received a message that the apartment below ours had a leak and our water was turned off. When we got back there was no evidence of water damage on our level and he gave us instructions to turn the water back on. Unfortunately these instructions didn’t work and despite us asking our host to come help or send someone to help we went an entire evening and morning without running water until the plumbers came the next morning. This unfortunately meant that we had to change our plans. After letting him know this and expressing our issue there was no message or compensation.
