「We wanted an inexpensive couple of nights getaway. We stayed in a cosy cabin with all kitchen appliances & an amazing heater, the Neighbours walls could have done with more insulation, but the shower & pressure was outstanding. The owners & staff were definitely a reason we would return.」

「Wonderful location. Cabins are in need of a spruce up but we still enjoyed our stay. Hot water was not working in our shower while we stayed... but we braved some cold showers... however we still enjoyed our time.」

「We loved the Miner's Cottage and would stay again, the only thing is there is no internet access if you do need it. Also you need to bring your own shampoo as this isn't provided.. It may be a good idea to take some bottled water as you have to boil the water before you can drink it. Other than that we loved it, Andy was very friendly, the Cottage was lovely the bed was really comfortable, lovely walks along the river, we didn't want to leave.. Thanks for a lovely stay and for the fresh egg's...

「Our lakeside cottage was just perfect. The weather barely got above 5C but we had plenty of hot water for showers, the heater kept us lovely and warm and the bed very comfortable. Could relax in the warmth watching the wildlife around the lake in comfort. The cottage was clean but basic, which was fine for us. We would definitely book to stay here again the future.」

「The property is very quiet and tranquil. However the room was very basic, and no real cooking facilities. Restaurant was closed. Looked like some renovations were going to happen, but seems a long way off. Advertising made it seem better than it was」
