“We loved the attention to detail with the decor of the room. It reminded us of luxury safari tents. The bed was comfortable; the coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator were useful, and the ambience was fantastic. The only downside is having the restroom up the hill, but the restroom was clean and included nice showers. I would definitely stay in the tent again, though it would be nice to stay for a longer time.”

“Beautiful piece of property with a great view of the stream from the screened back porch. The road in front of the house had more traffic than we expected but wasn’t bad and we enjoyed being out in the mountains. The second cabin on the property is quite close and was great for us since we brought our parents. Gave us both privacy yet the convenience of being together when we wanted. Both cabins were furnished well and decorated cute. We did encounter an issue that was disappointing but the……

“A great experience from start to finish. Home is beautiful. Just as described on the website. Very clean. The movie theatre was fantastic. We all gathered (13) in the theatre 3 of the 4 nights. Complimentary candy was much appreciated. Game room was also enjoyed nightly. Kitchen was well stocked. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t supplied. We cooked in every night and used the grill and flat stone. The deck is amazing and had enough seating for all of us to enjoy. The view……

“This was our second stay at the Secret Shack and we can’t say enough good things. Chris is an amazing host and everything was better than expected. Many upgrades since our last stay including new furniture, appliances, and a gas fireplace were fantastic. The view is amazing and so cool to wake up to in the master bedroom. Plenty of towels and the bed linens are super comfortable. The hot tub is a nice touch as many smaller properties lack this. We’d give more stars if we could and would love to……

“The home is beautiful! The creek was absolutely amazing! Water rafts available to float down the river and explore. Plenty of lawn chairs provided! Check in was a breeze. Essentials available in kitchen. Bring your own bottled water to drink, cook with, use for ice and coffee. The water is safe but has a well water smell. Susan, the property manager, is SO fun! Visit Hidden Gems . It's close enough to walk to. It’s definitely hidden so watch for signs. You will park on the side of the road. ”
