Great weekend getaway!

This property was exactly what we needed, quiet, comfortable, beautiful and super relaxing. Would highly recommend if you want a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home.

Cleaning was good but lacking with mildew (mold) in master shower Parking will be tight with more than two vehicles A Keurig would be a great addition

Perfect for hiking and college tour

The location worked out so well. We wanted to spend extra time prior to an App State admissions tour and this was close to so many trails, antiquing and King Street. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings. You can’t go wrong with this house.

Great House

We had a great stay at Peace of Mind. Beautiful kitchen and main level of the house. Very clean and beautiful neighborhood. Each bedroom having their own bathroom was nice. We will stay again when we come back to Boone!

Boy's Weekend

Peace of Mind was a fantastic place to spend our 4 day "boy's weekend". This house was truly perfect for what we wanted. Big kitchen, awesome wrap around porch, neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Plus only a 15 minute drive to Boone and Blowing Rock.

Boone Trip 2023

The rental was exactly as described and very clean and kitchen well stocked with all the utensils you need. Gas range was a plus! Description of property and pictures were exactly as advertised! Starter kits with hand soaps, shampoo, and personal care items were a nice touch!

WOnderful stay at Peace of Mind

Peace of Mind was a very nice place to stay. The house was updated, clean and spacious. Perfect for 6 to 10 guests. The gourmet kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood was beautiful. Bring some extra blankets for the bedding if you are cold natured. The house is 20 minutes from Boone and Blowing Rock. We would diffidently stay here again.

The property was nice, but the floors could use a good scrubbing. It would also be nice if there were a few dish towels to use. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

I took my daughter and a couple of her friends for a weekend getaway to celebrate her 16th birthday. This property is perfect for families with teens. They had their own space downstairs where they could hang out and all be close together. The house is in a gated community golf community so it was quiet and secure, and you are less than 15 minutes from the shops and restaurants of downtown Boone. The rental company provided so much information ahead of the trip so I felt adequately prepared, and they were very responsive to my emails when I had questions.

Perfect Mountain Get Away

We loved our stay in this cozy mountain home. Perfectly situated to visit Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Linnville, Blowing Rock or Sugar Mountain. The gourmet kitchen was welcoming and made preparing meals so easy and enjoyable. The home was well appointed and had many comforts of home. The listing is fully representative of what you experience. It was clean and came equipped with basic starters supplies too! The neighborhood was peaceful and gated so we felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the pet friendly accommodations too! We would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a quiet mountain retreat or a convenient place to stay for hiking, golfing or snow skiing this is the ideal place! Thank you for sharing your home.

Birthday weekend

The house was what we had seen on the pictures. However I feel the cleaning was lacking. Their was dog hair on the floors that looked like it had now been mopped and needs more dusting. The fan in living room, and kitchen had cobwebs and over the stove. Mod in the master shower was bad. Some of the chair needed to be replaced not best sitting chairs.

Nice place could be much better with a little TLC

Kitchen was very nice and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and living room & tv room worked fine. Desperately need towel racks in bathrooms. Also closet and some shower doors are off track and need repair. The deck is a major disappointment. Needs repair and refurbishment. Garbage instructions were not consistent with physical arrangement and not followed by housekeeping. With a bit of upgrade, this could be a premium property.

Such a Disappointment

We arrived to a disheveled front parking area with random debris scattered about. When entering you find no Wi-Fi, a broken coffee maker, cobwebs in all the corners, soiled clothing from previous guest and broken televisions and pinball machines. The management company had no response to the grievances. It was a nightmare.

Great place to relax

Our family went up for a long weekend and really enjoyed this home. Three bedrooms with their own en-suite is a dream when traveling with teens! The home was very clean and well maintained. The master bedroom surrounded in windows and glass doors was beautiful and my next home improvement will be the heated floors like are in the master en-suite! We liked the separation of the two other bedrooms being downstairs and there being balconies on both floors. The kitchen was phenomenal and we would have loved it if staying longer and cooking. My only issue is with the listing - the map puts this home at the other Chestnut Drive in Boone (why would there be two?). So, in our case we were trying to be closer in town for a specific reason and that didn’t work out - surprise for us when we arrived. But, it’s not too far out and we would stay there again.
