We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this cabin in Boone! The place was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The views were beautiful, especially in the morning with the mountain mist. We loved sitting by the fireplace and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect mix of comfort and seclusion, yet still close enough to town and local attractions. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape!

We had a fantastic time in Boone. The house was clean, spacious, and offered a beautiful view of the mountains, conveniently located near all the attractions we visited. The only issue we had was with the driveway, which proved to be quite challenging. It might benefit from paving, as a 4x4 vehicle would ensure easier access. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience. The host was exceptional—very prompt in responding to our messages. When my husband and daughter encountered some bald-faced wasps, the host took care of the nest immediately.I highly recommend staying several days to truly enjoy all that Boone has to offer, as a weekend might not be enough. We definitely plan to return!

Beautiful view from the property. Bedroom set up is great for privacy for 2 different couples. Driveway was challenging--steep and gravel, but I made it after a couple tries. Great location for visiting Grandfather Mt and Blowing Rock.

Vacation

We had a cozy stay at this cabin with our two dogs. It was comfortable and clean, and the view is amazing! It was so close to downtown and easy to access. The driveway is a bit steep, but we were able to get up in a 2-wheel drive truck. Absolutely would stay here again or recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay in the area.

App State Visit

We came to Boone to your App State with our son. The house was great. The view was beautiful. The boys loved the basement and arcade games. The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect 5 is we couldn’t get up the driveway in a jeep. We shoveled it a bit but it was too snow/ice packed. We were able to climb up. We wanted to experience the winter weather and got to do so. We hope to visit again in the future.

Christmas tree search

My husband and children and pets stayed and found our trees right up the road ! We were pleasantly surprised as it exceeded the pics Plenty of room and the fenced area was wonderful we had an unexpected snow storm which was beautiful but hindered our departure and David was very helpful and understanding and provided a layer check out. Highly recommend

Wonderful mountain getaway

This place is so much fun, the mountain views are breathtaking, it's a short drive to all the fun activities in Boone, and so much fun to just hang out at the house. We ended up staying in and playing games in front of the fireplace. Great kitchen, super comfortable mattresses and it was great getting to bring our doggo. Much needed family time at this comfortable gem. It was hard leaving this place.

Football get away

We were excited to get back to Boone for some football. We loved how close the cabin was to the stadium even though you felt very tucked away. The space was very clean and the views were breathtaking. We will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us.

Visit with App State students

We had a great time visiting with our son and our daughter who are both App State students. The location was very convenient to campus; less than 15 minutes away. We loved the big family area; we could all recline and watch TV or sit at the table and still talk to each other. Only drawback was the bumpy, steep driveway; took our daughter several tries to get up each time with her little FWD car. When we come back again, we would definitely try this place again.

Post Card View

We enjoyed an extended weekend while in town for an App State event. The home was very clean & comfortable. While it was just two of us, this home would be suitable for a larger family to spread out. The view from the front porch left us speechless! Communication with the owner was seamless and all information was shared prior to our arrival. We were thankful we had four wheel drive as the driveway was a rough ride to the top. We will consider this home again on our next trip to Boone.

Wonderful house

Lovely house with beautiful view of the mountains. Very comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Asked the host about the Wi-Fi password and he responded very quickly. The house is close to town and there are lots of restaurants. My only caveat is the steep gravel driveway is very difficult to drive up. Four-wheel drive would be helpful. Also, there are quite a few stairs up to the living area so if you can’t carry your suitcases up steps you might want to rethink this house. Steep narrow streets run through the neighborhood with no place to walk dogs - you’ll need to take them to a park for exercise. Fortunately there are a number of lovely parks with easy trails nearby. If you’re able to deal with the few challenges outlined above, you’ll love this beautiful spot.

Lovely

We had such a nice stay in this beautiful home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the view was amazing. We also really enjoyed the video arcade games. The location was so convenient to Boone, with just enough removal from town to enjoy the privacy and the view. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. We would definitely come and stay here again. Thank you!
