Waters Fall is a remarkable mountain home located in the Hound Ears resort community, just minutes from Blowing Rock, Boone, and Historic Valle Crucis, however, you may never leave the home and the gorgeous surroundings. Water cascades down the property and runs under the spacious deck and cantilevered screened porch before falling another 20' on the rocks below. Relax with family, friends or just on your own in your private grotto.

The charming home features modern amenities while maintaining the coziness of an authentic, mountain A-frame. Enjoy High-speed internet and convenient charging ports throughout the house. A great room with massive wood burning stone fireplace (wood supplied) and comfy sitting area, along with a 55” smart TV with the most popular apps including YouTube TV, Netflix and Amazon Video. An HDMI cable connects to your computer for direct streaming. The updated kitchen includes a double convection oven, quiet dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, and Amazon Alexa voice assistant. Each floor includes a Master bedroom with full bath. The upstairs bath includes a whirlpool tub and separate standup shower along with a full-sized washer and dryer. Climb the spiral stairs to the Eagle's Nest loft -- a perfect, private space for a tree-house-like escape.

Outside, enjoy the spacious deck and soak in the beautiful view. The screened porch includes a dining table for 8 and comfy seating for a good read or that afternoon nap. You’re only a few minutes to Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Valle Crucis or Boone… and just a short drive to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, and all the local ski resorts. The home includes convenient, flat parking for two vehicles and it is only one small step from street level to the house entrance -- a mountain house rarity.

The Waters Fall Host Fee provides for Hound Ears 24/7 guarded/gated security, 24/7 emergency response, road clearing & grounds care and maintenance, garbage pickup, firewood, propane for outdoor fire pit, and access to the Hound Ears boulders & picnic area and Hound Ears trails. The home also includes a 24/7 outdoor security camera mounted under the eave of the porch.

Waters Fall is a “special moments” home, perfect for exploring all the area has to offer, or simply enjoying a getaway to the soothing sight and sound of water with the sun shining through the trees.

This place is the bomb! Super cool creekside cabin. It is well furnished, as well as being well stocked. Easy to get to, and only a short drive to Boone. If that weren’t enough, the hostess is fantastic! We had no problems, but I felt if one arose, it would be handled promptly. Scattered neighbors close by genuinely seemed friendly and accommodating. Security was 1st class down by the entrance. I can’t say enough positive things about this home. I plan to stay there again soon.

This is the place to be if the sound of a running creek is music to your soul, like ours! Place was super cute, the community is gorgeous & the location is ideal! Took us just minutes to get to the Blueridge Parkway & all its stunning mountain views and downtown Boone which is a visitor’s paradise. Host was super helpful, kind & quick to respond which made this the ideal mountain getaway for my family. Many thanks for the hospitality & the boots that we used to explore the creek! This cozy beautiful home exceeded our expectations. The home is clean and well stocked with games, blankets, towels, kitchen tools and anything else you would need for a great mountain weekend. We all enjoyed playing in the creek and the sound of the water allows you to escape the outside world! Being centrally located between Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk made it easy to explore all the high country has to offer. We can't wait to stay here again!

What a hideaway retreat in the mountains! The cabin was clean and basically had everything you could need or want as far as dishes, appliances, and other necessities. I want to say it is cozy but don't mistake that for meaning small or tight as that is not what I am saying. I mean that every space is welcoming and comfortable. The gazebo is amazing, you are surrounded by the sound of water falls and it is really enjoyable. If you want a private getaway nestled in nature, don't miss Waters Fall!

We are very familiar with the area but never imagined such a cute chalet was tucked back into Hound Ears! It had everything we could need, and the check-in process was seamless; I am not surprised that Waters Fall has so many high reviews. We will be back to stay in Lynn’s beautiful home again soon! The location was ideal, with the patio, screened porch, and such comfortable beds! Can’t wait to return.

Sun, snow and ice - and everything nice

A lovely, clean and well-cared for cabin in a beautiful setting - our little family truly enjoyed being here. We spent the sunshiny days hiking along the Tanawha trail, out to Hebron Falls (a perfect family ‘playground’), and the short but sweet Green Knob loop. All of these were a a quick and lovely 15’ drive from the cabin.The cabin was well-stocked w firewood and we truly enjoyed a blazing fireplace on the colder nights. The deck and gazebo are extraordinary, and the creek flowing underneath provided a constant and pleasant natural soundtrack for the stay, day and night. We spent time all through the cabin, and were comfortable everywhere really. On our last night, it snowed starting in the evening, and we had a blast throwing snowballs and later having smores inside by the crackling fire, cozy again. We’re from Florida, so waking up to a blanket of snow on our last morning was truly magical. It’s a sweet spot, and gave us a memorable trip, and Lynn is kind and communicative as a host. We hope to return another time.
