Apartment was renovated by an architect in 2012 to the highest standards giving you all the conveniences you expect - from WIFI to dishwasher, tumbledryer and Nespresso - with all the character of a luxurious 18th century Bordeaux residence.
Furnished throughout with exquisite taste (mixing original 18th century paintings and engravings with 20th century iconic pieces of furniture), the apartment features a large and quiet master bedroom, sunny living room with balcony looking out over historic buildings, spacious dining area, fully-equipped kitchen - including a lovely breakfast bar - and bathroom with separate toilet and a wash hands.
This is a perfect base from which to explore Bordeaux and its region. Everything you might want is minutes away, many nice restaurants, typical cafés and delicious bakeries, museums, enjoyable theatres, cinemas and an amazing opera hall. Many city guides and addresses that tourists do not usually find will be at your disposal in the apartment. The Tourist Information Center is also within walking distance, and their staff will be very helpful when booking wine tours, city tours of the UNESCO listed heritage sites, etc.
The closest tram stop is just 300 meters away.
Check-ins are normally planned in the afternoon, after 3:30pm (extra charge after 19:00 : 25€)

Du pur Bordeaux !
Des ruelles pavées, des passages étroits entre les bâtiments en pierres claires et massives et aussi l'architecture de la maison donnent l'impression qu'on est dès l'arrivée au cœur de Bordeaux. Effectivement, pendant notre séjour il y a eu un tournage pour "Les Misérables" juste avec la coulisse historique à laquelle appartient la maison.A l'intérieur de l'appartement l'équipement est excellent et les appareils ménager sont de fabrication allemande haut de gamme. Et l'architecture avec les pierres claires, les plafonds hauts et la cheminée engendrent une ambiance bordelaise même quand on ne sort pas. D'ailleurs, même les jours chauds, la température de l'intérieur reste agréable.Le bémol: S'assoir à deux, voire même manger sur le balcon est absolument impossible: Il minuscule.

Beautiful flat in interesting, central area
Great location in a quiet street, within easy reach of Bordeaux sights etc.We loved the big living room.Not too bothered by the creaky floorboards above, nor smell of drains, but the huge puddle at the street door was impossible to cross with dry feet!

A wonderful cozy apartement

Great location but not luxurious
We stayed here for three nights. I have stayed in many apartments before all over the world and I was expecting at least the bed to be comfortable and to find a sufficient amount of toiletries. I had to wash my hands with shampoo because they only give you one soap for two sinks! The bed is a simple mattress with two small pillows.
There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the bed is very close to the bathroom and there's no door just a curtain.
The location is great due to the proximity to Saint James St. where you can find many shops and cafes.
Communication was good and I never saw anyone, and we were able to check in and out by ourselves.
Unfortunately,I feel that I paid too much for this place.

Superb location
Big apartment two floors up ( no elevator) in cobblestoned central historical area of Bordeaux. Renovated with all modern kitchen, bathroom. Furniture could be more comfy and the bathroom needs a fan (moldy smell) but that’s common in very old buildings. Management very responsive. Super for 2 people.

The location was perfect for us. The accommodations were better than expected and management worked with us to check in early and told us the easiest way to get from the train station to the apartment. We would stay here again.

Quiet, spacious apartment on a charming street
The photos absolutely capture how lovely this apartment is: a gorgeous old building updated with all the modern conveniences yet preserves its period architectural details.
